I don't know about the winter coat but I will be fully dressed

Actually this is the first time going were I don't have to freeze when I come back. At least I hope I don't in Sept. We usually go in the middle of winter. Oops forgot the August trip but we didn't fly then.

Today was bimonthly leadership team meeting with FREE lunch, which is alwasy goog! Although it was chicken and salad again, which I am not too fond of.

But, I heard a neat thing today, coming to a Disney Resort to you soon.
It's called "Magic in Motion", a new thing for busses.
Not only does it count passengers getting in and out of busses, to help with scheduling, but here is the cool thing:

Say you are leaving from Resort X to go to the MK. It will play music and announcements, like "Folks, we are heading to MK now and play some appropriate music and I dont know what else. Both when you leave the resort and approach the destination. And I think when you return to your resort. It is all based on GPS. On the return trip it will do some resort music and narration. It's all based on where the bus is and what the destination displayes. There are 1,600 possible combinations.

Been years in planning, they are starting it like next week on 3 busses, then soon to the rest (273 busses). Should all be in place in the next 3-4 months. A whole new bus experience.


Here is the other thing he said. They looked into monorail again (they have done this for 25 years, I swear). The cost would be $2 billion! So don't count on that to happen!

My kids are in swimming lessons and can swim though.

We didn't request either so we shall see what we get. I don't mind AB anyway.

Marita that sounds interesting. Like to see them count at the end of the night.

MommyP- I dont know if I can re-assure you. I'd save the POLY for a couple-only trip for the expense and stick with value when the family goes. I look at it as I only need a clean bed, a hot shower, and a soda refill cup . I can visit any posh resort I want. I go for as cheap as possible, but have a nice souvie budget. Sorry! Do what's best for your family though!

It was slow here today. I think all the talk of touching eyeballs made people squeamish.

Marita - What did they look into the monorail for? What would cost 2 billion dollars?

Uma - A value just won't do for us unless it's a long weekend trip. We need 2 rooms and that jacks up the cost, plus we hate how crowded the pools always are. We are resort people. Which is why I struggle so much with where to stay. We like to spend a lot of time at the resort. I guess since we live here and go often we don't care about being in the parks 24/7. I think we spent 2 full days at the resort during our 6 day Poly trip last Sept. Plus every afternoon. We liked spending the afternoon/evenings at the pool. And often end up in bed early, which makes room size a consideration.

Nab and Marita: Count me in on a quiet one! I've sat beside someone at the Splash Mountain kiddy playground who had a lime green mickey head AND a TGM button and I couldn't bring myself to say, "hello". lol

Nab - If I see a fully dressed woman by the pool, I'll come say, "hi". Hopefully it's you.
