Open: Crop and Share Thanksgiving Weekend

I have arrived home for 12 hours of shopping and am ready to fall over but once I get back up from my nap I will be getting started on some things. I hope everyone is having a good day and enjoying themselves.

I got Rabbit emailed to myself
cricut machine is set up to the desktop but I usually inkscape on the laptop

next up is Owl - Only doing 4 of him, can't find many of him (could have done a 5th but it was the one on the Cricut cart)

That is very cool. I am going to have to find out how to use the SGV with my machines- you do so many excellent pieces. I know it is a matter of just saving them in a different format to work on the craftrobo program but I will have to look up what.

I am somewhat awake now- I just finished cleaning up the kitchen from the boys and I looked in the fridge and remembered what I am supposed to do tonight. Make lumpia- so I need to cut down about 10 cups of vegtable and cook 5 pounds of ground beef for the filling. Someone gave me garden fresh bok choy to use in it. I will be binding some books when I need to take a break. I am thinking of asking DH to pick up a meat on his way home and just heat up sides for dinner. I feel somewhat like a zombie at this point.

We are back from my parents. I'm tired and stuffed!!! I'm going to change into some fat clothes, finish putting up leftovers, throw a load of towels in the washer, then start cutting more letters. Be back in a bit.

I know I could buy another piece of software and use them- I also know there is a conversion that can be done to use them in the craftrobo software. I haven't looked at SCAL to see if it works with the craftrobo pro which is the machine I have- I love mine- of course it is a professional level and sells for about $1000 last I checked. It does 30 inches wide and up to 30 feet longand can have cutting with or without a backing and cuts through thicker materials without as much as a problem. Also my blades last amazingly long in it. I cut very regularly with it and have only had about 4 blades in the 7-8 years I have had it.

I have finished chopping the vegies, we have eaten dinner, and DH is cooking the 5lbs of ground beef (I thank him so much). I am taking a break and then will begin cooking the vegies down.

I finished my filling last night so today includes- a fish fry at a parishoner's house, wrapping lumpia, cutting paper dolls, binding some more books, and getting ready for Sunday services.

well, very little scrapping for me today ;(
DH noticed a board on the house was bad so my Sister & her family is coming over
BIL will help get board fixed (along with pick-up for bringing it to the house)
I'm going to make dinner for everyone
might try teaching my sister how to inkscape so she can make her own files

Good morning, ladies. I'm not sure how much scrapping I will get to today. My youngest started coughing and complainning about a sore throat last night. She has asthma, so a simple cold can sometimes cause her a lot of problems. There are so many otc meds she can't take. The last time I gave her cough syrup, she ended up having to stay overnight at the hospital. So I guess I'll just see how she is feeling when she wakes up in a bit and take it from there.

I am off for a couple of hours for the fish fry.

Well I missed the bulk of the 2 days with the food baskets I was prepping. All but 3 are delivered thank god I almost have my living room back. Hoping that the last 3 can be done tomorrow and that I can get DH to take a load of books to the storage shed. I want to play with my new toys.

my FIND of the weekend was EK punches for 1.97 and 2.97. border and corners for the 1.97 price and 2.97 for the garland ones. I'm sure they were ones that were left from the flood but they must have been high enough cause no package damage. Our new J's is AWESOME!!!! OH MY they doubled the size and I just want to stay there alllllllll day.

hopefully I'll get sometime tomorrow to go play.

Got most of our decorating done yesterday and today, just a little bit left to do. all my wrapping is done too and under the tree

went to see the cinderella musical downtown today, so cute! we loved it! dinner at Cheesecake Factory yum!

Late to the party as usual!!

We had DD's party today at chuck e cheese, they had fun, cake was fantastic and then we hit up toyrus and ended up buying baby K more presents. so far hes the only one started haha.

I am just working on swap pieces, that should have been waiting in my computer to be cute. but CDS didnt save it. errg! So I just finished re-creating, DBF started a fire downstairs, so it should be nice and toasty.
