Oops, went a little overboard at Target clearance today!

We stopped last night to pick up the new barbie DVD for my niece (who shares a birthday with my son- they both turned 3 yesterday) and they had toy story stuff on clearance! I bought them each a Jessie doll for $2.98! My son is quite secure in his masculinity where he can play with a girl doll (who's a cowboy anyway) but who more importantly, respects a great bargain!
They had some other things like board games and toy phones, but they weren't $3...I think the phone was $6-7.

I know what you mean. Sometimes i just walk into Target and walk down the end of the aisles and walk out. I just need to make sure they didn't put anything new in there.

I love Target clearance shopping. We call it perusing the perimeter.

Yep, same here. I joke that I'm a Perimeter commando.

I'm not sure if they are still there, but the Target coupons had one for Logitech accessories. Might make a sweet deal if they are on clearance now. I need to make a Target trip this week. I still have the $10 and $5 off bath stuff coupons and last time I was there some were marked 30% off. I bought a new medicine cabinet (my current one the laminate is peeling) for $20 and got a free wastebasket. I'd like to get a new towel bar and tp holder. Hopefully, they will be down to 50% off.

Has anyone done the Bounce Dryer bar deal? I think you get a $5 gc this week and I got a flyer in the mail with $1.50 and lots of $1 Q's.

School suplies are 75% off here too. I got DD a Locker bag notebook that was orig. $19.99 for $4.58. The inserts that were orig. $7.00 were $1.75!!!

Ours were already gone by the time they got to 75%. I wanted to get them for my DD to help with her organizational issues. I'm glad you were able to find some.

My normal target always has tons of curtains on clearance. Months ago I got my kitchen curtains on clearance, and it took all of my effort not to buy some really nice curtains on clearance this week. And even though I already have snuggies, I wondered if I needed more for only 7 dollars

Also, not all Targets will have the same things on clearance. They all do it a little differently.

When an item ends in 4, that will be the last mark down (ie $1.74, $9.94, $19.94, etc).

I only know of one way to walk through Target, (around the perimeters). I saw a radioflyer 3in1 rider toy on wed marked down. Came home, thought about it, went back that afternoon and both were gone. Soo mad, but I've learned my lesson, when in doubt, buy it.

Thanks for starting the thread OP! After seeing your post this morning I hit my Target and got some great deals! For Christmas I got my
DD20 a comforter/sham set and new sheets for $20 total!
I also got a Toy Story beach towel for $2.48 that's getting put away for Christmas The school supplies were still only 30% off though but I'll keep watching for the deals some of you found!

LOVE Target's clearance! I am watching some fans (they have a ton of them left) to be marked down further. Right now they are only 30% off and have been for a couple of weeks. I was able to get some other items for our cruise in the spring, so that our space will be better managed. Loved getting them at a great price, and that they can be used more than once!

I had the overdoing it problem at Michael's earlier this week. They had their summer toys (TONS of Disney) for 50% off, so I got lots of little happys for the cruise for $.50 rather than $1.

I should have read further though and got some sheets! I didn't make it that far in the store.

1 Aluminum Red Sox Waterbottle - $3.98 (orig $15.99)
2 mesh Laundry Bags (for summer camp next year) - 48c (orig $1.99)

Plus - my DH and oldest DS personal favorite:

2 Victorinox 12 Blade Mult-tool swiss pocket knives - $8.74 (orig $34.99)

I'm heading back first thing tomorrow morning at there was a 5x7 rug I liked for our living room but I wanted to get DH's okay before I bought it as I have to run to a different store to see if I can get the matching 8x10 on clearance too or I'll have to order it off the website for full price ($350 )

Ours had the slinky dog for 30% off, but there was only one. I did find the three barbies (barbie dressed in woody, buzz, and alien outfits) for 50% off. I'd usually wait for 75% but the display emptied fast, and I didn't think they'd be around that long.
