I just saw Geraldo Rivera interviewing Anne Rice. She was talking about the importance of continued support for the city of N.O. Geraldo asked her if the spirit of the Big Easy would survive, and Anne replied "Absolutely, the spirit of N.O. is Titanic." Oops

I heard that and thought that was a poor choice of words.

OMG I've been having the images in my mind of the older couple at the end of Titanic... in bed holding each other while the water was filling up their room. I can't stop thinking of that scene this week
