oops I may have made a mistake

We have sailed on RCCL in the past and decided for next years vacation we would go on the new mega ship from port canaveral for a 7-day western. So today I signed up for a RCCL board on cruise critic and do you know what those people talk about.
Children, how rude they are, how no-one should take kids on vacation, how they run around the ship unsupervised and how unruly they can be. I do not think they like kids.

I have found the posts on the Cruise critic board to be somewhat.....(how should I say this) ....um...harsh? There seem to be a few posters who love to dampen the spirits of the others. I'm not sure why this is, but I have been "flammed " on the board for simlpy giving an optimistic opinion. So...I tend to stick around here.
I'm sure you will have a blast on RCCL. Don't let a few people stop you from going!

I went on cruisecritic alot before our cruise on Princess, and there are always a few naysayers in the crowd!LOL!

The Princess boards were full of really crabby people last year that liked to complain about everything. Didn't meet up with any of'em on our cruise and we had a great time! Someone remarked on the board the other night about how those posters seem to be gone, and how much more pleasant things were.

Maybe that's where the folks who are currently complaining on the RCCL board are now... lots of complaining, but it won't affect your trip

I was amazed at the negative posts and replies regarding questions about kids on the Carnival board too. I thought Carnival ships were geared toward families with kids. The Camp Carnival program is great for kids (although doesn't match DCL, of course )

Anyway, I think the same is true for Royal Caribbean. I don't think they would offer kids programs and activities if they wanted it to be adult only. I think the posters on Cruise Critic are rough when it comes to kids. Posters are so much friendlier and fun on the DIS Boards!

Thanks everyone, I think the only mistake I made was going over to that grumpy board. I think I'll post a thread over there and let them all know they are a bunch of grouchy people. Then I'll run back here to all the nice and wonderful folks

I read your post over there. Everyone who replied seem very nice and encouraging to you. Like one poster said, it seems to only be the bad ones they seem to remember, because, it is true that on a ship that large, or any large area, you will notice the extreme. So, like they were all saying, enjoy your cruise. I am sure they were speaking of the"exception."
