OOP or DDP per restaurant?

We have one extra TS meal that we will have to pay OOP....Wondering if we can wait 'til we know total of bill to say whether we want to use DDP or OOP...

We are going to Yak n Yeti and Sci-Fi for lunch's....depending on what we feel like that day either restaurant could be more or less money....

Anyone ever done this or know if it can be done...I have looked at both menu's and have eaten at both and am leaning towards Yak nYeti as the oop 'cause we may just order a few appetizers to share.....

I do not think that you can do this since the server needs to know if you are on the DDP before entering your order info into the computer. Becasue of this you will get a bill, then one zero'ed out with just suggestions for tipping or a tip depending upon your party size. If you are considereing just apps at yak and yeti that would be your best oop choice.

Go to allears.net and look at the menus before you go. They have prices.

Last month at Le Celliere there were 3 of us and only 2 on the ddp. We atold our server, but when shw put it in, we were all on ddp. She was able to correct it with no problem, so I don't see why it would be a problem in your situation. Just ask up front.

yes you can actually wait till you get the bill we did this last year we had to pay for one meal and decided it would be a breakfast since it would be the cheapest but forgot when we got to Ohona for breakfast and remembered we wanted to just pay for it and they fixed it for us..it shouldn't be a problem..

Just a general warning about paying OOP. If at all possible wait until later in the trip to pay OOP for anything. Sometimes plans change, someone is not hungry/well and you skip a meal here or there and won't have to pay OOP for anything as a result.

Sometimes that doesn't quite work for the "cheap" meal so go with your gut.

Also you can also split a check, meaning say pay for some meals OOP and others on DP.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone...I guess we will wait and see...these are the only TS lunches we have...all the rest are CS.....We arrive Wednesday and these lunches are Fri and Saturday...the more I look at menu's I think we will go with apps at Yak n Yeti.....
