The slot just opened for the date I wanted but all our ADRs are booked. We have guests coming from a very far distance with us. I was thinking I would leave it booked and just pay OOP. We have been to the World many times and this is their first time. We are taking them on our DVC pts. If I pay for Boma for 4 adults and 4 kids (includes my family) what do I need to plan for. I do not run on credit I am cash kinda girl and will want it up front before our trip in late Nov.

I am choosing to keep it due to the fact you disers rave about the breakfast and were booked at AKL.

According to the menu on allearsnet.com, it's $18.99 for adults and $10.99 for kids. We went two years ago and paid $85 (including tip) for 4 adults. The breakfast is good, but I don't think I'd pay that much again for it.

It was a very nice breakfast, lots to choose from. But, we had our two teenagers with us and, although I know it's not healthy, I kept wishing they'd eat more to get our money's worth! I'm sure you'll enjoy it though.

$19 per adult sounds right. I don't have kids, so I don't know how much their meals are.

I think it's a pretty good value. I figure if I went to one of my favorite local breakfast spots, I'd pay $12 for my omelet and breakfast potatoes, $2 for coffee, $4 for a large glass of juice, and that's $18. So $19 to get a bigger, more interesting variety and be at Disney World is totally worth it.

Hi,

My family of 4 (two adults and 2 kids)ate at Boma last November. We were staying at AKL - Kindani so we ate their twice. We were on the dining plan but I do remember the bill being around $75.00 including tax and tip. Its is a little pricey for a non character breakfast but it is very convenient and delicious if you are staying at AKL. Also, there is a very large variety of food including a meat carving station and delicious roasted potatoes. Bring your appetite.:yay:Animal kingdom lodge is such a wonderful resort. Wish i was there now.

We are staying at BCV next trip and I am trying to decide whether its worth it to dinner at Beaches and Cream. We will be so close to epcot and wondering if i should try to eat at one of the new two epcot restaurants.

We paid OOP for breakfast here during our last trip and would definitely do it again. There's tons of variety, the coffee and juice that they serve are great, and it's a really relaxing meal compared to other places that can be quite hectic. I think it's worth it. :thumbsup2
