I was thrilled though! my pal in ct sent kate 5 pairs of irish dance shoes! they are all too big right now (key word being now) but they are hardly even used it looks like! I'm so excited!!!!! now if she can just find a solo dress! (that would so totally rock!) maggie

My first thought was oh I know she is going to alter them but then I read they don't fit yet. So now you can alter a pair of her old ones!!

Wow! That's awesome! I remember buying tap and lyrical shoes, practice leotards, and recital outfits. To get something free like that in such great shape is wonderful! What a nice friend!

Maggie -- I don't know how old Kate is or if she is into American Girl, but I was looking through their catalog yesterday and they now have an Irish Dance costume for the dolls. It was cute and I thought of you! lol

yeah, kate is 10 and thinks that she should get that american girl outfit. (now mind you she doesn't have the doll, has NEVER played with a doll...) they need to make one for the build a bear animals though. that would be cool. maggie
