ooohhh, super target and the 1$ spot udpate

our super target that just opened, just got a dollar spot sometime last week. It is very cool. :>) All kinds of scrapbooking goodies in there. A friend of mine said that she had heard that all the targets (at least here in northern va) would be getting these $ spots. I restrained myself and didn't buy the cute eyelets and brads... next time. maggie

update: all of my targets seem to now have the dollar spot, you guys might want to check yours again. (they just seem to be popping up this week)

Just curious...what is a dollar spot? We have a regular Target in our town, but we also have a Super Target about 15 minutes away. I was in the Super Target yesterday and looked at the scrapbooking stuff, but I have no idea what a dollar spot is.

Maggie your killing me!!! Another reason to hate liveing in MD. Haven't seen this in our Target yet but when I was there last week (twice ) They were unpacking all kinds of good stuff.

Never mind...I just got back from Target and just spent about $15 in the Dollar Spot. My store didn't have any eyelets or brads though. Just 3-dimensional stickers and letters.

Pick a date. Of course like you I have already volunteered for every activity in both my DS Kindergarten and DD pre school. Our schools started last week. So much for the 5 free hours of alone time I thought I was going t have this year.

I was in Baltimore over the weekend and both the Target in White Marsh and the one in Cockeysville have them as well.... Dangerous places I bought a bunch of things including the cute little mini punches -- the mini swirl is good for making mickey heads when combined with the EK Success small swirl punch.

I'll be in WDW this weekend dodging Hurricanes so I'll have to wait for my return to check out the Target's here in No VA.

Our regular target here in the Charlotte area of North Carolina has a dollar spot. I got several sets of bubble letters.

didn't find anything I "needed" today at super target except my groceries... but I did buy a few days ago the mini swirl punch and the bubble letters.... now if only the tag fairies would make my tag in colour.... maggie

The kids and I were just at our local Super Target today, and we came away with a lot of the cute paper in the Dollar Spot

BTW, the Dollar Spot changes their merch seasonally. Right before switching out their goodies, they'll often put just about everything in that section on sale for anywhere from 25-50 cents! Last weekend, we scored a hot glue gun, extra glue sticks, some pretty gift bags, and something else that I can't remember, but everything was a quarter a piece! WOO! Ooh, the other thing we found was small toolboxes (they're really great to store crafting goodies in), also a quarter a piece


In the past we've seen dog and cat toys, leashes, bowls, etc., little tool kits, safety goggles, drink charms, plates, BBQ utensils, you name it. I've always loved Target, but the Dollar Spot makes me love it that much more!

Once again Mont. County is slow. I went on Tuesday and they were still filling some of the bins. I only saw bubble letters nothing else for scrapping. They had tons of Hello Kitty stuff for some reason and lots of cleaning supplies

Here in Clearwater, FL our Target/Super Targets have the $1 sections. It's more than just scrapbooking stuff, stickers, some photo albums and kitchen stuff, etc.
