I wasn't planning it at all !! remember my mum took me and the kids to lapland last xmas .... well this year we are off to new york

I am soooooo excited we are going to book it tomorrow but it will be early december for 3 nights/4 days

its a secret from the kids again tho so Sshhh

Nat can I ask what Lapland was like. I've always wanted to take DD but had heard it is just an over glorified Santa's grotto. However I think a weekend in Lapland would be so cool with a reindeer sleigh ride through the snow and seeing santa at 'home'

oh Emma it was fab ! yes some of it is commercialised but we have never seen so much snow ! we had a brilliant time
