Ooh la! la! trip report - all in one thread

Mazda, that tiarra is you! Now quick, go put it on!princess:

Somehow April in Paris looks a little colder than I imagined, but it looks like you had a great trip, even the 14 year old. :)

Mazda, it is sooo nice to *see* you - and the tiara so works for you!!! You go girl.

Still packing up your box with goodies...

I think that was the true Disney magic for me (apart from my hair not going weird even in damp/cold! ) seeing my "adult" desperate to cuddle up to characters, skipping with his brother, and even SMILING in photos! (Normally too cool for that now!)

It was REALLY cold though, with little bits of snow under bushes etc. even on Tuesday, 2 days later :scared:

Great photos, great trip report!

The photo of your son in the bright red chair, is that part of the Alice maze? Looks cool!

How early did they suggest you get to Buffalo Bill's? How much time did you have to stand around before being seated? Sounds silly that they only had 2 bartenders! Are there three colored sections in the show? Are all pretty good views do you think?

Love the tiara! Did you notice other adults wearing fun headwear? Hats? Mickey ears? Would you say that many of the adults are "children at heart"?

Glad you got your "adult" to not worry about being cool for a while and just have fun with the family!

The red chair is outside the Alice maze - luckily as we got a bit sick of it in the sleety drizzle the night before :rotfl: we found it when walking past to Casey Jr.

Dh had been moaning about my tiara (because of the extra attention from CMs curtseying etc.) until as we were walking into the studios we passed a group wearing those Mickey ears with little hats (like the saucerers apprentice" and agreed I could have chosen something a LOT worse :rotfl:

They start seating BB from 5.30 - that means they give you your allocation, not that you get to sit down! 4 colour sections (red, yellow, blue, green), once you have your ticket you get your hat (which you kep - so don't spend 6 euro on one!) . They fill from front to back so its worth not waiting too long, although the seats are tiered so you should get a good view wherever. You sit at long benches facing the stage on tippy-up seats, ready-set with dishes and cutlery plus bread, and the servers come round first to take away the chilli bowls from kids then they come round serving the food, clearing and topping up drinks.

They don't let you in til gone 6.00 (I can't remember exactly what time) and there is no-where to sit - I asked if my mum could sit on the stairs as her leg was playing up, and the manager kindly bought her a chair. There is a small stage where they do a sort of variety show, but I can't see why they can't get you to your seats as many people were not buying drinks because of the wait.

Great report.
I think the characters do not go into the restaurants at breakfast time.

I wear gold Mickey ears :rotfl: ;)

I thought about red sequinned Mickey ears but I thought it might be vulgar and over-the-top:snooty: :lmao:
