Any solo travelers in DL this weekend? I have an extra ticket for Oogie Boogie Sun night 9/29 that I would love to gift to a Dis-er! (Will only gift to someone who is established on the boards.) My son can’t come and I don’t want it to go to waste!

We saw Scarlet Witch against the Avengers HQ building last Sunday around 6pm.

Only 1.5 days more of work than we’re headed West!!!

Hoping crowds are decent Saturday with the discounted ticket deal ending, the high price for park tickets and some MK’s blocked out! I was randomly looking at menus and found my favorite adult beverage that I thought was gone isn’t! It’s just served at a different location!

For those who have done OBB already where do you suggest we start? We are eating at Lamplight during the mix in time and I was thinking we head back to Paradise Pier then work our way up?

Are you wanting to to the character treat trails? If so, you might want to go line up for Sid after you eat. He’s back by Bing Bongs. His line is always long and that way you won’t have to go all the way to the back of the park again. He’s the farthest away compared to all the other character treat trails.

One thing we realized is there are a lot of treat trails in the left side of the park and most of them are infinitely better after dark (the only ones that aren’t are the ones inside). But Hades, Dr. Dufenshmertz, Oogie Boogie, Ernesto De La Cruz, and Agatha are all in Hollywoodland and Avengers Campus.

Toy Story, Big Hero 6, Roger Rabbit, Sword In The Stone, Hercules, Coco, Wanda Vision, Phineas and Ferb, Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus, and Robin Hood will cover many of your encounters.

I’m interested to hear how it goes. We also have a lamplight lounge reservation during mix time. I think we will also line up for Sid as our first treat / character meet

Well we had a very successful night at OBB last night! It was myself, my husband, son and brother in law. We entered through the main gates a little after 3:00. The lines were long but moved fast. I went and bought my t-shirt and pins at Elias and Co then we went to Mickey’s Phillharmagic.

We had a dining reservation at Lamplight Lounge for 4:15, checked in and were seated right away. It was about 5:30 when we were finished.

When dinner was done we rode Incredicoaster, played the games on the pier and then rode the swings. The line for Sid was already crazy.

It was now 6:00 and we went towards Judge Doom for our first trail. Walked back towards Sid and the line was still wild. Headed to Yokai then towards Avengers Campus and went through Agatha, exited and saw Ernesto which we went through twice so we could catch him singing. Walked over to Hades and watched him for a while. The first parade was coming down so we watched that and as soon as it passed popped in to Dr. Doofenschmirtz then Oogie.

We wandered back towards the Pier and did Madam Mim, the trail across from Ariel then finally got through Sid. Hit up Incredicoaster and the swings one more time. Then just wandered around and enjoyed.

The line for the Sanderson Sisters was pretty short during the first parade and Bruno never had much of a line. I did notice a TON more tables set up for the dessert party this year so be aware the spots to watch aren’t as plentiful.

We got a ton of treats! Filled our whole backpack from three people going through the lines.

If you’re able to stay until close, you could walk right through all of the treat trails in the final hour or so. The character actors are tiring by that point so if you want a better show, go earlier in the evening.

WDW is far more generous with treats than DL. Toward the end of the evening in WDW, they give large scoops of treats. In the final minutes the park is open, some CM will even fill an empty bag up. So, we typically end up with 5-6 bags each. You might get an extra treat per station at DL, but that’s it. We barely managed to fill one (per person) iup. And that’s on spite of DL offering different treats that take up more volume. I did notice people weee skipping the carrot sticks and she asked us if we wanted more haha.

There are multiple Sids. But there is one we saw for the last two years who was excellent.
