Ontario's 2007 March Break.

Hi Just found out that we are heading to Florida March 2007. Just wandering when our March break will be? We try to head down the week before, then drive back during March Break. How close will Easter be to March Break too?

In a few weeks, your Board should have the 2006-2007 calendar up for you to see. To my knowledge, ours hasn't yet gone/been approved by the ministry yet. That said, I always count on Mar. 17 being within the March break. I can't remember the last time we "did" St. Patrick's Day. Best guess: March break 2007-TVDSB-March 12-16.

Easter Weekend next year: April 6-9 HTH

I'm not 100% sure, but it's almost always during the week of St. Patrick's Day.

My kids have Happy St. Patrick's Day T-shirts that they want to wear to school but never can because it's always March Break

March Break for Waterloo Region District School Board is set as March 12-16, inclusive. No indication as to whether the Friday ahead of March Break will be included again.

ETA: As for Easter -- Good Friday is Apr. 6, 2007; Easter Monday is Apr. 9,2007.

We too are going next March Break. Nova Scotia's March Break next year is the 12-16. We are going March 10-24th. Easter is in April next year. Good Friday ith April 6th, with the 8th being Easter Sunday.

York Region's March break will begin on the Friday...so lucky!!! Unfortunately, I will be moving to the KW area and so far they don't have the extra Friday off. I guess I have to wait one extra day.
