OnStar in Your Car?

Do you have/use Onstar in your car? We just bought a new car (Saab 95 - love it) and it has Onstar. What a nifty feature! Anyone else use it?

I have it and my dh uses it more than me which is great because he would never stop and ask directions !!

I love it when we're traveling. Once there was a sandstorm when we were traveling through Arizona, the freeway was closed. OnStar got us the last motel room in Benson. Saving us from having to go 50 miles back. There is another thread on the boards about whether WDW corporate sponsors actually get a "return" from their investment. We first learned of OnStar at EPCOT, where GM showcased their cars while Test Track was being built. We bought two OnStar equipped Cadillacs, and we never would have considered a GM product, since we'd had problems with their products in the past. We've had wonderful service the last 4 years out of these cars - and they're still going strong. Add to that the feeling of security of airbag deployment notification and I'm surprised more people don't have the system.

I just renewed mine. I have the Safe & Sound package.

We just got it in my wifes new Cadillac CTS. Haven't really used it yet (have unlimited cell phone use) but it is a nice safety feature and peace of mind knowing it is there.Ours is free for 1 year, then we will decide whether to renew it,probably the safe and sound package.

We have it but luckily have never had to use it!!!

It is a great comfort knowing it is there, especially for those 24 hour car drives to WDW!!!
