Is it an easy walk to get to the parks from onsite hotel ?? how long would it take ?

would I ever need to use the car if we eat inside the parks ??

Anywhere from 5-15 minutes depending on which hotel. Or you can take the water shuttles or bus.

No you will never need your car. We are taking Amtrak this year...so no car for us! Hard Rock Hotel is the closest hotel to the parks. Royal Pacific is the second closest with Portofino being the farthest away.

This is good info for me .. thanks very much..I did not know there was a boat to the parks from all 3 onsite resorts as well !

All three resorts are very close. Also while staying at one you can resort hop to the others, it is incouraged. One you arrive there is no need to leave, everything is right there.

The HR walk is very close...quicker than the boat usually. Last year-5 nights and the only time we used the rent van was to run to a Walgreens. (just a few blocks away also, probably could've walked there too.)

There is a boat as well as a shuttle bus. It is just easier to walk.

Yep there is! When we stayed at RPR we always used the boats. When we stay at HRH we walk to the parks. Here are a few pics from the walk to US from HRH.
