My mother and cousin are in Florida for the week. They started in West Palm, then went to Tampa and ended up in Kissimmee. They did not plan to visit a Disney park. My cousin is an antique car enthusiast and owns 2. He wanted to attend a Corvette convention being held at Old Town.

Anyway, my cousin Randi drives a Kilimanjaro Safari truck at AK. They got in touch with her and she arranged to get them into the park today for free so they could ride her safari. He called me from the park after they took the ride. Actually, they were in the theater waiting for the Lion King show to start. He said Randi told them that their pass is actually a park hopper for the day, so they wanted to go to MK after they left AK.

He called me from AK to find out what time MK closed today! Apparently, he thought I was a better source of info than asking a CM in the park. My mother thought he was nuts.

We had friends call us from MK the day before Thanksgiving asking us why the park was so busy? Uh...I don't know...maybe because IT'S THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING???

Ahh but it's nice that they recognize us for the Disney 'know-it-all's' that we are!

When we were at WDW over Thanksgiving with our dance group, I had people calling me from whatever park they were in asking for advice!

That's wild! Wish we could have gone to the Vette Show. Our Vette (seen below) used to be shown in the "Exotics" category there.
