we're going for our 7 yo's birthday, we're leaving on the 24th and her birthday is on the 26th. Our plan is to pack while they are at school on friday the 23rd and load the van while they are sleeping. On saturday we'll wake Bella up first and tell her we have an early birthday present to give her. A tshirt that says we're going to disney world RIGHT NOW and let HER wake up her sisters and brother

I'll then pass everyone a backpack full of travel goodies with tshirts for everyone else to wear

OH my Gosh! That sounds incredible. I don't know how you can keep it to yourself but I sersiously got chills reading this thinking about the kids waking up that way.

Wonderful!! Great plan-I give you !!! I love to do surprise Disney trips for the kids!! They are memories for the whole family that will always be treasured. I am debating when we are going -usually between Nov and Jan-now you are making me get the fever!! I am sooo happy for you!!

Disney mom of three from nov through jan I would pick the first 2 weeks of Nov, the first 2 weeks of Dec, or the last week of Jan from what I've read on here those are the least busy due to Tgiving, Christmas, NYE, MLKD weekend and some marathon in Jan. Have a GREAT time no matter when you go! I can't wait to hear your plans

Sounds like a GREAT plan - I can imagine how excited the kids will be to be woken up with such news!!

How wonderful - I'm taking my 2yr old for the first time in Oct and am completely obsessed with the planning! I also had the 180 days marked on my calendar to make our ADR's. Now I just have to call back & speak to the chefs about my ds's nut allergy!

Happy planning, its my favorite part! You have a great surprise planned, I'm sure the kids are going to go crazy when they find out. One of my best memories from childhood is my parents waking us up EARLY in the morning for a surprise Disney trip. Have fun!
