Only using 4 of 5 days on Hopper

I bought my sister a 5-day hopper, but it turns out we're only going for 4 days. I assume there is nothing we can do with that ticket's 5th day? I believe the ticket expires a week or 2 after first use. Not a huge deal, just checking in case it could be used somehow.

I've considered changing our flight back to a later time of day so we could go to the parks, but that adds additional cost to the trip.

Are you already going to the parks the day you arrive? Maybe it can be a good opportunity to simply soak the atmosphere, take photos, maybe get a favorite snack or sneak in a favorite ride? Or to just hang out in main street to wait for the fireworks/projections?

Yes, we're already going the day we arrive. We fly out on the 5th day at 10:55 from SNA so I guess we could go in for a little bit in the morning, like an hour?

I also considered converting the hopper to an Enchant Key and then she could use that for next year's trip, but I don't know the Dec blockout dates or even if that's still an option.

ETA: Apparently you can still convert a hopper to a MK before the last day of use. I know that the Enchant Key is a miserable deal for the most part, but she'll probably only use it for our trip next year. That makes the conversion cost $294 if they give us the current value of a 5-day hopper subtracted from the cost of the Enchant Key. That's a pretty good price assuming we could actually find consecutive dates in early-mid Dec where she could use it.

Ohhhhhh...I didn't realize it wasn't for sale. I looked up the new price and assumed it was being sold, but I suppose that means it's only available for renewal?

Maybe you will get lucky and the key you want will be available on your dates.

We're going Dec 7-11. I got a great deal on the ticket so I can't really complain about it cost-wise, but it just goes against my grain not to use all the days ha ha! I used the recent Trip Advisor/Target Circle deal and got 20% off. I think it was $380.

Darn. Well, since your flight is at 11ish am, you could totally do EE for an hour or 2 and then go back to your room and pack up. Or pack up first, drop your luggage with bell serrvices and go into the park until it's time to head to SNA. I love flying in and out of SNA, it's so close.
