Only the Wish from Port Canaveral?

Is the Wish the only ship leaving from Port Canaveral now? It appears that way on the website but I got a lot of "Something Ate This Page" while trying to check. We wanted to do a land and sea but have zero desire to sail on the Wish.

Fantasy also sails her usual 7-nights routes out of PC. Dream moved to Miami and Wonder is on the west coast permaneatly.

Bummer, we were look for 3-4 nights for a first with a toddler. I got a veto on driving 3.5 hours to Miami for the Magic.

Dont forget, its the Dream sailing out of Miami now. the Magic is in Europe.

I would encourage you to look at the prices for sailings out of Miami. We have lots of friends who have been finding some really great deals on those sailings and they've been advertising 35% off. They offer mostly 5 nights but there are some 3's and 4's in there as well. I would say a 4 night would get the most value out of the drive if you can convince them.

Also: There are some sailings on the fantasy that are a bit shorter (there's a 5 night on the fantasy from PC that leaves this month after the 9 night sailing).

We may talk about it a little bit more but after driving from the midwest 18+ hours, I think that could be a hard sell. We are looking pretty far out since we're planning for September 2023. I was hoping he would agree to Miami since I would love to sail on the Magic (we had to cancel our cruise on her in Oct 2019). Thanks!

Only for the next year. DCL signed a long term lease at Port Everglades for a second year-round home port in FL with the first departure in late 2023.
Well, but both the Dream and the Magic are sailing from Miami, now. The Dream is taking over the Magic's routes to Europe and the like, but what about the offseason? Will they keep one ship in Miami and one in Port Everglades and have three home ports in FL? The PE agreement doesn't specify a second ship until sometime later.

Wonder is on the west coast permaneatly

Do we know this for sure? I know she is not on the current Fall 2023 release and that the Magic has the next set of PC cruises, but I have not seen anything that says the Wonder will be permanently on the west coast.

I believe you are correct. I haven't seen anything formal yet. Lots of rumors swirling that the Wonder will end up in Australia/south pacific but that hasn't been confirmed either.

Trent, the cruise director on the Fantasy, was very coy during the Gold/Platinum gathering (Platinum FIL took me and my niece) on the Fantasy last week when discussing 2023 and the Wonder. He was like "Don't ask me <wink wink>."

But we didn't get any insights.

Disney's agreement with Port Miami expires in 2024, so I would not expect Disney to use three ports for long, if at all. I also suspect sending the Dream to Europe is a test run to see how the market reacts to a bigger ship. Disney has a little time to decide whether to have the Dream or Magic be the Fort Lauderdale based ship, though I suspect that they already have a plan.

They won't be a ship in Europe year round, though. There's no demand for it and most of the European cruises don't work in the colder months, anyway. If they stop using Port Miami, then Dream and Magic can be the two ships sailing from PE. But that still leaves the two new ships with no obvious home. Interesting times ahead, I'd say.
