Our day at the parks is going to be Saturday July 30th. I'd like 2 days but have been outvoted.
We will have hoppers. We will be driving. I didn't want to drive but the hotel was free on points. What time can we expect the parking garage to open?
My plan was to head to DCA as they don't have a Magical Morning that morning. I was thinking a good plan would be to head to Toy Story and then do California Screamin. Head back and grab a WOC FP, grab a RSR fastpass and hit Soarin standby. Possibly grab a Frozen FP, it's not a must do for us.
Then head to DL and head to Indy for a FP and then hit Pirates. It's tradition that it must be ridden first. Then hit BTMRR and head toward Buzz and Star Tours and depending on FP for Indy possibly do Space or grab a FP.
Then the rest we will play be ear according to FP return times. I'd like to see Mickey and the Magical Map at some point. I've missed it the last 2 times. Plaza Inn chicken or possibly Carnation Cafe since I've never eaten there.
My questions are for the evening, is it possible to see the fireworks and make it back to WOC second show? I will have a FP for the first show because everyone wants to see that. I was just wondering if it was possible to do both. If not I will just plan on hitting the first WOC. Paint The Night will also have 2 parades. I was thinking we could hit the second one after WOC. Any tips for seeing the second one? Also any thoughts on my route through the parks that first part?
I know we aren't going to even come close to seeing everything and I'm OK with that. I have to be because everyone else wants to do "other things". I've never done "other things" when I come to SoCal so it will be a whole new trip. My daughter is very excited to see WWoHP. Which will be the next day. Which is why we will have a car.
