Going to be going to DL for a day on June 11. Trying to decide if I want to see DL or DCA. Haven't been in 5 years. I'm also taking a friend with me who never been. I'm 22 she 19. I'm leaning more towards DL since I want to see it with all of the 60th anniversary decorated. What are your opinions?

DL for the 60th should be great. I don't know how crowded it will be, but it is possible to do both in one day, theoretically. I even watched World of Color and Fantasmic! in the same night. For a friend who's never been, DL for sure.

Geez that's a tough one. Can you do both? Park hopper? Sometimes I think DCA is more of an adult park because they have screamin',soaring over california, radiator springs racers, grizzly river run, tower of terror, toy story, and night time music with the mad hatter. I honestly would pick this one. Disneyland's 60th anniversary showcases the new shows. If you want to see that then do DL. Talk with your friend to see which attractions mean most to you and pick a park based on that info.

Oh gosh your friend has never been?? Both parks if you can. I would start in DCA. Grab fast pass for Radiator spring racers first (their fast pass runs out quick!).
If you are not watching the shows in DL then ride attractions during the shows. Less lines when everyone is watching shows!

Moved your thread here where I think you will get some great info. Danny

Do both with a park hopper. The parks are so close together that going back and forth is very easy.

Hi! I would get a PH too - I was there for just 7 hours with my daughter recently and we went back and forth quite easily. If a large ride breaks down in one park (or more than 1!) it can cause a temporary huge crowd - it's great to be able to flee the busy park if need be. Have fun!

I will say if you hop you should pick out your top to-do's in each park. Fast Passes are connected within parks but not between parks - so if you wanted you could run and grab passes in one park and then run into the other and immediately grab one there as well.
