Ny suggestions for my 12-year-old son. Can't really afford to bring along a friend. Anyone out there have or had same pb. Any suggestions?

Hello, we've taken our daughter through many years. To be fair, she is a bit of a family kid and holds up well without a friend. But, we would make sure she has plenty of comfort items - PC, 3DS, drawing supplies, and we engage her in planning the trip and each day. Have some responsibility for what we do seems to make her feel more important!
