Hello all,
First of all, I know I am a compulsive planner and I am getting help for it.
My friend and I have been dreaming of going to DLP for years and now we decided that June 2009 will be it!
This trip will be sans the kids and we will both be 40 by then!
We decided the Newport Bay Club is the hotel for us. While the Disneyland Hotel sounds grand, it's just not in the budget for us.
I have a couple of questions: How far in advance to advise us to book? Is it better to book a package or to buy the room and tickets separately? Is three days enough to see DLP in late June? Did I make good restaurant choices?
Here's our basic itinerary:
Day 1: arrive from USA, dinner at Cafe Mickey
Day 2: DLP, dinner at Walt's Restaurant
Day 3: DLP with dinner at Auberge de Cendrillon
Day 4: DLP with dinner at Lucky Nugget Saloon
Day 4: lunch at Disneyland Hotel and travel to Paris
Day 5-6: see the city of Paris
Day 7: go home
Also, can you recommend a hotel in Paris? Or the neighborhood we should stay in? We are two "young"
women travelling alone. All we require in a hotel is a clean room in a safe area, preferably near a Metro.
Thanks!
