Only 2 Hours at WDW. What would you do? UPDATED

Well, I did end up going to Magic Kingdom on Tuesday, 11/28 and had a fabulous time. I actually only had 1-1/4 hours...so a total of 75 minutes, but I used it to my fullest advantage.

I didn't end up getting to Magic Kingdom (yes, I know I thought I was going to Epcot, but I couldn't resist seeing Main Street decorated for the Holidays) at 4:45. I immediately got on the train and rode it to Splash Mountain, which I totally walked right on. What was a bit funny was that I was wearing business attire (sun dress with a jacket and sandals with a bit of a heel). I hadn't even thought about the fact that I looked out of place until I got on Splash Mountain and realized that I would be soaking my dress. I was quite a sight as I got off with my bangs plastered to my face, wearing a fairly non-casual Disney outfit...but I was having fun. I then headed over to POTC, and again I walked right on. No wait at all. They actually let the boat go in front of us because there was no one to ride it. I was thinking, sure, this is the time I go with no kids...when there are no waits. When the kids are with me, it's an hour wait. Oh well, I was loving it.

Then I realized that the reason the rides were empty was because people were lining up for the Christmas parade. I walked back down Main Street and stopped at the Bake Shop for a Toll House cookie. Then I left. As I was walking to the parking lot, fireworks started.

Perfect super short trip and so worth it.

Total Cost after the already in-hand AP ticket with free parking:

Like $2.00 for the cookie:)

Thanks for all the ideas. I am so glad I went, as it made the trip for me.

Wow, that is the quickest Magic Kingdom trip I have ever heard. Some people have waited in line for Space Mountain longer than your entire stay! :)
Still sounds like you had fun.
Did you take the monorail or ferry over to Magic Kingdom?

So glad it worked out for you and you enjoyed yourself! MK was my pick, nothing says I'm at WDW more than walking down Main Street!

We leave next Thursday and I just can't wait!!! :dance3:

I took the monorail over and back. As soon as I got to the base of the monorail, it was coming into the station, so perfect luck. Same thing on the way out. Same thing with the railroad train. Everything was perfect as far as timing goes.

I just wish they still had some Chocolate Advent Calendars at the confectionery, as that was what I had wanted to take home to my daughters. They were out. Instead my 4yo got a Minnie plush and my 17 mo got a Mickey plush.

I would try to do something new that I haven't done. For me it would be EVEREST.

I'm so glad you went, even if just for 1.25 hours. Sounds like the pixie dust was in the air with everything being perfect for you. Bet you can't wait for your trip in January, now..... ;)

2 hours at WDW, it's like torture when you love it so much. I hope you have a little fun and make the most of it.
