Only 1 refill of bread allowed at Sebastain's now

We ate at Tusker House and 'Ohana in May, both were AYCTE. I just looked at the menus, I don't see that verbiage on TH's page at all, but 'Ohana still says "All-You-Care-To-Enjoy" on their menus, for both breakfast and dinner.
Tusker House was a buffet and now is all you care to eat same concept but covid adjusted how you get your food.

What? No one in my family has ever made honey butter. They sell it in the grocery store.
Yes! Maybe it's because we live in the South, but honey butter is always at our local grocers. We especially like the Land 'O Lake variety, but I'm not allowed to buy it because it lasts less than a week and we shouldn't be eating that much butter in a week.
My favorite condiment at Sebastian's is the onion jam. On the pull-apart bread, by itself, and pared with their mango chutney, curry veggies, and cilantro rice. I have to figure out how to make it at home because it is delicious!

They will probably discontinue them from this meal at some point.
I wouldn't be surprised - or possibly begin to charge for them, like they do with their shrimp add-on option. It's my understanding that they are made and baked in-house, which likely costs more than ordering bulk frozen rolls because they need to pay people to make them and bake them. I wouldn't have minded paying for extra rolls, but my husband feels that's a double-edged sword because then you're showing approval and support for being nickle and dimed.

I don't know if OP ever answered back, but the post said her child dropped one so she asked for more. I understand they were told there was a limit, but I still don't understand if the the dropped roll was replaced and if that was communicated after being told they don'r additional basket refills. Do they simply charge for a side of additional rolls beyond the two baskets?

I thought same thing, I remember growing up and my parents telling me I didn't need another side of sour cream because of that.

edit to add: Growing up when we traveled and my family was on a tight budget, I remember my mom getting extra rolls or biscuits and making little sandwiches with the bacon, or main we had and wrapping them in napkins. Taking extra jelly packets...This would be our lunch etc.
Sorry for not responding. We were driving back today and I spent a lot of time driving.
It wasn't replaced. I did not want to get a manager involved over a roll because my kids are always watching/listening and it's a slipperly slope to give meaningful feedback and not seem like a complainer who is feels entitled to compensation; plus, I didn't want to bring down the mood of our good game of eye-spy. Not sure that was the right decision, but I was caught off guard and didn't really know exactly how to respond without seeming impolite. I usually bring extra apple sauce pouches and snacks, just in case, but forgot during this meal and felt bad for my daughter. She was disappointed and confused when the roll slipped right out of her little hands at our booth. Kids can be so innocently clumsy at that age.
*By the way, your mom's travel sandwiches sound superb! That's my daughter's favorite treat when we stop at Cracker Barrel. She's a bread, yogurt, eggs, and fruit kid.

I completely get your point, but then, every complaint on the Dis is subject to this sentiment. Room type, room location, pool visitors...
Right. If you have the energy to puff up the CEO of a major Fortune company but balk at other people's complaints because the gravity of the world's events are weighing on you, maaaaaybe your perspective needs shifting (everyone's does - mine included - but c'mon, dude. Your posts are no more or less important than these and yet people aren't rushing to dismiss you because of the invasion of Ukraine).

Not to add fuel to the fire or head towards page 7, but Pillsbury used to sell the exact rolls in the freezer section. I think they stopped. But Pillsbury butterflake crescent rolls are the same dough, just not in the roll shape in case anyone is now craving bread...
Those are super yummy, but not quite the same texture or density as the pull-apart rolls.

With all these policy changes, can you still get more than one meal at topolinos for breakfast? When we last went they let us get a second on the side
That's what they did at our brunch last week. I asked for the quiche with a waffle on the side. However, I was NOT prepared for the waterworks tears that streamed when my daughter was finally able to hug Minnie. She was itty bitty when the pandemic began and she has no memory of hugging the characters. She was completely beside herself with excitement and love when she was given permission to hug them.
Side note- Topolino's has a new bread pudding and I can't see it lasting on the menu for very long. It didn't have a sauce and was more like a baked strawberry shortcake. It was different, but not in a good way. We are spoiled with amazing bread puddings in NOLA.

Yes! Maybe it's because we live in the South, but honey butter is always at our local grocers.
I live in the South. I have never seen or heard of anyone using honey butter. Although I have never thought to look for it specifically either or asked anyone point blank about their consumption of honey butter. Must be a super small regional thing.

Someone has been self-appointed as the Internet Comedy Police.

And the quote came from page 6. But I appreciate your concern in this matter. Have a great day!

I hope your life improves stranger, sorry you’re going through such a bad time.

Judging by the bickering of people in this thread going back and forth, I don't think anyone deserves these extra bread rolls.
It's 100% my fault for feeding the DIS trolls the dang rolls. 😣 I normally know better, but I was on the 9th day of our trip and feeling a little delirious. Thanking the almighty Disboards for the block feature today. 🤣
