If you could do only 1 character breakfast, which one would you do?

We're going in December and will probably only splurge for one character breakfast. Our son doesn't care about princesses, so we're leaning towards Tusker House or Ohana. Thoughts?

We have done O'Hana three times and doing again in a few weeks..we love it. We are doing Tusker house for our first time this year.

My two favorite non-princess breakfasts are Goofys Beach Blast Breakfast at YC/BC, and Donalds at Tusker House. Both very nice. Not a huge fan of CMs anymore.

We are trying Tusker House in January. We've done Chef Mickey's and Cape May before. I've loved them both but I hear even more great things about Tusker House. I love that it is in Animal Kingdom. We plan to get there for extra magic hours and do the Safari ride then go grab our breakfast at 9:25. It's so convenient! Can't wait!:goodvibes

I have done both and enjoyed both. Ohana's is one of my favorites I find it relaxing as well since it is not buffet style and the food is brought to your table. Tusker House you do get up and serve yourself - maybe that can help you decide lol!

We really like 1900 Park Fare, but we usually go to Goofy's at the Cape May Cafe because it is so convenient to the Boardwalk Villas where we stay. We always find it very good also.

Tusker House is the best character meal on property, period. We never miss it, the cheese blintzes alone make the trouble getting a reservation worth it. The secret is out though, reservations are getting harder to obtain there.

As of right now, the Ohana breakfast may not have gone up in price, but it could just be that no one has reported it to allearsnet yet. Tusker breakfast is now right at $29 for adults.

We LOVE Ohana breakfast the food is so good and like another PP said it's nice they bring the food to you. The homemade breads are my favorite :goodvibes

We are trying Tusker House for the first time in November
Can't wait this one gets very good reviews as well

I think Tusker House has the best food of any character meal.

For atmosphere and character interaction, Cape May at the Beach Club is very nice.

We haven't done Tusker house, but we've done Ohana, and are doing it again in October!:thumbsup2

Beach Club's breakfast is also wonderful. We've done that the most.

We tried Tusker House last time and we all LOVED it! It was a great experience with wonderful food. We also enjoyed Crystal Palace. Ohana is now in third place for our family. Still haven't tried Chef Mickeys...that is for our upcoming trip!

Ohana...hands down! We went this past December and my DS3 was so interactive. He still walk around yelling Helloha (aka aloha). It's so cute. He was doing what we dubbed the highchair scooch, dancing in his high chair to the music. It was just such a fun, great exerience. I would highly recommend it. I like the ones that bring the food to you so you don't miss any of the character interactions.

We loved Tusker House. I just planned a trip to go in October and I'm trying several times a day for a reservation.

My grandkids loved O'Hana when they were there at age 6. They will be 12 when we go in Dec and they want to do O'Hana again.

We are also going to do Tusker House. I did it one year and enjoyed it so I wanted them to try it too.

If I had to choose though I think O'Hana would be my pick, even my husband liked it.

Tusker House is our favorite. We've gone there twice. The food there for breakfast is very good as is the variety. Our last visit we got the characters over real fast, which was nice....but one son missed Goofy as he was still getting his food. Overall, we'd repeat this one next trip.

Ohana was the first character meal my kids ever went to. They love having Mickey, Pluto and Stitch. We've done this one a few times.....and while I've always enjoyed the food......served family style and more limited selection.....it's always been good and fresh. But our last visit I was not happy with the service. Long wait to be seated. 3 people at a 2 person table...giving us no room. Our server brought us the food, the check......then we never saw her again. We waved down a bus boy for someone to bring us more waffles. Characters didn't come by until we had finished eating. So we had to wait almost 30 minutes to have Mickey by. Anyone can have a bad experience once.......so we'll probably do it again someday.

Pick which characters your kids would prefer as neither one is a bad choice.

regards

O'Hana is delicious.. and going to the Poly is just a fun atmosphere.

We did "Donald's Restaurantasaurus" in Animal Kingdom a couple years ago, and I believe that was moved to Tusker House.. everyone in the family loved that one too (plenty of yummy fresh fruit!)

I still have to say that Chef Mickey's breakfast is always the one we do the first morning & the "classic" characters there (Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Chip & Dale) are the best :)

I have done both and enjoyed both. Ohana's is one of my favorites I find it relaxing as well since it is not buffet style and the food is brought to your table. Tusker House you do get up and serve yourself - maybe that can help you decide lol!

Its tough choosing between Tusker House & Ohana cause theyre both my fave and at the same time they are both so different! I would choose based on location and which park your going to.....AND choose based on what you want, buffet or a sit down meal instead???? Tusker House does have more choices cause it is a buffet (a wonderful buffet!). By far the best selection!! Characters are great, esp Daisy. So funny. Ohana is more relaxed. We saw the characters twice. Food is good. Esp the bread & juice! OMG yummy! Atmosphere is gorgeous! Good luck deciding. Theyre both great!

If I had to do one, I would say Tusker House. I would do like another poster suggested and have a 9:30/10 ADR on a day with am EMH. We got Safari, Dinosaur, Bug's Life, and Jungle Trek done plus a fast pass for Kali River Rapids...then brunch...then Lion King show and use our fast pass and we were done

(Although Crystal Palace about an hour before rope drop was awesome, but no Mickey)

I have never been to Ohana...going to a resort that I am not staying at for breakfast is hard for me b/c I want to be at the park at rope drop. Ohana also doesn't have Goofy, and my son loves Goofy. We have never seen Lilo & Stitch (movie).
