I've been fiddling with some online tools and I think they're in a state that they are ready to be shared.
Found at: http://www.funkyjohn.com (Select WDW Planning)

1. WDW Trip Calculator: Figures what days on your trip will be early entry, countdown, when to call for priority seating, more...
2. Attraction Restriction Calculator: What rides and why, your shorty won't be able to ride.
3. Child Height Calculator: Figure out how tall your kid will be for WDW.

WDW Trip Calculator:
This calculator will determine based on the dates of your stay:
* Parks for Extra Magic Hour (Early Entry)
* Give priority seating options based on hotel and park
* When to call for Priority Seatings (day by day)
* Give information about common shows & parades
* How many days until your trip & how many days you are staying

Essentially, I've taken the idea of a priority seating calculator one step further to also take into account extra magic hour (parks doing early entry), and some of the parades and shows. It also takes into account what resort you're staying at. I'm thinking of hooking it into the park hours, special events, and other stuff too.

Attraction Restriction Calculator:
This tool takes information about the guest and then shows what attractions and activities to avoid. It also shows you how many more inches to grow or how many more years to wait. This is probably most useful for people with kids and for ladies that are pregnant to see what you can't ride.

The online tool takes information like age, height, age, and a checklist of other stuff to determine what attractions and activities you might avoid.

And because I too have a shorty-kid, I've included a child height calculator and growth charts to help you figure out if your kid is going to grow enough for your vacation.

awesome idea....
I tried it out and it seems really neat except it had my dates all screwed up.

That was awesome, it put everything I want into one paragraph for each day!!!
Thanks!!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

It's cool, but newbies may not understand that the restaurants listed don't necessarily go with the EMH park that is listed by the date. Is there a way to make the restaurants listed change by the person entering the park they plan to attend that day? Is there a way to also list the resort and DTD restaurants? Just thoughts. Maggie

Looks like a good site, but you forgot to put the month of MAY in your choices for trip countdown.

Yup, there was a bug in the months of the year, May was missing and others were missed numbered. This is fixed now. Good catch.

I'm impressed. I wish I could do something like this. It's very cool. I did see one problem, though. It appears the Early Entry days are off. For example, the first day of my trip is Sunday October 24th. When the day by day planner displays, it shows that it is Animal Kingdom's ee day. Then it has Monday as MGM, and Tuesday as Epcot. Sunday is MK, Monday is AK, Tuesday is MGM, and Wed. is Epcot. It's off by one day. Should hopefully be an easy fix.

A few observant folks found a bug in the script where it was picking the wrong park for Extra Magic Hour and picking the wrong restaurants.

This is now fixed and running fine.

What happened is I was keying the EMH park off of the 90-day advance date vs the real date. I appreciate all the free Beta testing :)

It's a neat idea but it doesn't offer enough flexibility for my liking. For example, although we are arriving on July 2nd, we won't be at WDW until after lunch which means we can't take advantage of EE for MGM (and quite frankly want to avoid parks on EE days anyway). If you could allow for the person to choose which parks they want to visit on which days it would be great. Thanks.
