Hi, We plan on visiting the Reagan library this Saturday around 12 and when I was checking out the website they recommend you purchase tickets online ahead of time for a specific time. Does anyone have experience regarding if this is really necessary or if you can just buy them when you show up? I am just worried about picking a specific time, if we can't get there by then with traffic, etc. Thanks!

I went there when they had the Disney exhibit, and purchased my tickets online. When I got there I found that people were purchasing tickets there. I didn't see any issues. I asked them about it, and they told me that they try to time-phase guests so we aren't all going at the same time. I think you'll be okay.

Hopefully, people with more experience will chime in. :)

Thanks Mary Jo.

If you buy a ticket for a specific time and show up a late due to traffic your ticket is still valid.
I prefer to buy ahead of time to save time in the ticket line.
