Glad I found this thread. We are looking for a new stroller for our trip and love the MacLarens but want something with a reclining seat. DH and I are both pretty tall so we need something we can push easily without kicking the wheels or hunching over.

I read some bad reviews of the Mac Triumph but are the Technos any better? :confused3

DS is 18 months and 27 lbs and we hope to keep the stroller for awhile. I love the Peg Pliko P3 but just can't bring myself to spend almost $400 on a stroller.

Our Pliko was our standard travel stroller for 4 trips before we needed a double; it is still my DH's favorite of all our strollers. www.babyuniverse.com has 4 different Plikos on sale for $199-209 no tax free shipping. They are 2007 colorways so if a certain fabric is really important it wouldn't work. Nothing has changed but colors from 2007 to the 2008s, wheels, etc are all exactly the same. We bought ours that way and only paid $199 for it and it was a really good investment for us.

Wow. Thanks! The green one was the one we looked at and it is on sale for $199. I sent the link to DH... ;)

We loved the Pliko for our daughter. It has an awesome canopy and if the seat is upright, the canopy will over it completely. When it's reclined, it still covers really well.

I ordered a P3 from www.albeebaby.com for our trip in September. They also had free shipping. I did some searching up here at a baby store and found that the P3 was the best for my niece.

I had no idea that you could buy a rain cover to add to the stroller. I wish I knew that when I ordered it. I saved a lot of money purchasing it online and having it shipped to the resort.

I would say for hte money the Pliko is probably one of the best all around best strollers, it's bigger than some of the umbrellas but it has a great recline and hood. It also has a step on the back for a sibiling.

we bought our jogging stroller on ebay and got a good price with free shipping of course not everyone offers free shipping.
