Online Reservation Trouble! 9/12-9/16

Clear your cookies and close your browser. This worked for me when it was being glitchy. Good luck!
 

I finally gave up and a friend of mine who was online (traveling with us) made them for me. Weird how some people can use the system while others cannot.
 
First of all, I see some 3 and 4 am times posted--the reservation line opens at 6 am Eastern time, correct? I am in Eastern time zone, but want to be sure!

Also, when I go on the site, since I'm too far out (can make res end of the month), I have tried calling up my resort res on the My Vacation site, but it always says that it doesn't recognize that number. I checked with my AAA agent and the Dining site by phone, and I am using the correct number--do you think I will have problems making reservations when my 90 days comes up? Will I have to enter all of my info separately the morning of my 90 days, or is there a chance it will recognize my res number then? Any ideas? Thanks!

you can not make reservations for the Candlelight processinal and garden view tea online yo uhave to call disney dining
 
Does anyone have a way of contacting Disney tech support for making ADR's online. I am still getting that still E..... error when trying to pull up my reservation. I can only look at the exact 90 day out for any reservations because of this. TIA
 
Ended up having to call and booked via telephone. Online just would not work even after clearing my cookies and closing my browser several times.

I ended being on hold for 30 minutes! Then after everything was book and she was taking credit card information for Spirit of Aloha....she put me on hold and accidently disconnected us:mad:

Call back and am on hold for 10 minutes!!!! My telephone bill is probably going to be as high as the meal at Spirit of aloha!!!!!:mad:

Too top that off. I have been up since 5 am trying to book online!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I swear if the mouse was closer, the cat would be having grilled mouse!!!!:rotfl:

Surely Disney with their ridiculous prices could do better then this?

You are better off calling! I have tried since 5 am and was unable to book....
 
I got on about 7:30, and had no trouble booking what I wanted, including CRT at 1 pm on 12/14!:banana:
I do have a question, if anyone knows--we'll have a TIW card when we eat there;(don't have it yet, didn't activate the APs yet). Will we be able to get a credit for 20% back when we go there to eat?

Is the 3am opening window a new norm (if we can call anything on this online booking system normal)? Is there a way to confirm? Will make life easier for me if it's true as I'm MST which mean I can start booking at 1am as opposed to getting up at 4am.... it's crazy how worried I am about these ADR's - I just want it over with so I can start focusing on the fun :goodvibes

I'm so exited...got up at 1:45 this morning to be ready at 2am (central time) to go online and finish my ADR's with the exception of Tony's Town Square we got everything we wanted, when we wanted...

here is our list for our Dec 11th - 18th trip

Dec 11th- Rose & Crown 6:05 pm
Dec 12th- California Grill 5:50 pm
Dec 13th- 50s Prime Time 8:10 pm
Dec 14th Crystal Palace 7:40 pm
Dec 15th Ohana 8:20 pm
Dec 16th Tusker House 4:05 pm
Dec 17th Boma 7:55 pm
Dec 18th Le Cellier 12:35 pm & Chef Mickey's 6:10 pm

we are also doing the Backstage Magic Tour and will be eating at Whispering Canyon Cafe for lunch

does anyone know why Tony's doesn't have any availablity ...I have tried for the past week (just to get an idea of times ) and they have never had anything for 2 at any time they are open?:confused3

The other thing is that my confirmation number does NOT have 12 digits--I double checked with my AAA agent and Disney, and I do supposedly have the correct number, but it is 8 characters long, begins with a number, followed by 2 letters, followed by 5 numbers. I am entering them without spaces, using caps for the letters, but still getting that error note.

I don't need to make res until the end of Sept, but I am going over NYE so I am worried--do you think it's worth trying to contact that support line? I just don't know what to do.

And now I need to get up at 3am eastern time to try this??? When did they switch it from 6am? I just spoke with a cast member at the dining number 2 weeks ago about my reservation number, and she said the on line system opened at 6???

Phone or email disney WDW.DRC.WDTC.UK@disney.com with your current confirmation number and they will give you the 12 digit one that you will need to book online

And yes, they do open up online now at 3am EST. Luckily being in Scotland I had a lie in till 8am yesterday;)

Same here. Got on at 8 AM and was able to book everything we wanted from 12/13-12/16 including CRT, 1900 PF, and 'Ohana.
 
Disney has the most unprofessional and most unreliable website of any business I have ever known. It is pathetic for a company of their size.

Msft is larger and I work on that site daily. They have fewer problems and they are known for issues with their own products/software.

I agree completely.

I simply cannot understand their website. Not only is it constantly 'down', but it is difficult to find information and is not organized efficiently.

I just tried to use their itinerary service. it suggest plugging in reservation #'s etc, and then you will have an itinerary with everything for your trip. it even has little boxes to set everything up (I was doubting it the entire time I was spending the hour imputting all the information but pressed on anyway because it would be nice to have a clear itinerary to take).

It have me one little list that said each day we would be there and next to it ONLY wrote on either the name of the park we were going to or the word "resorts". NONE of the detailed info that I imputed came out..NONE.

It's still there when I look at it...still in the format of being in little boxes that can be edited. But it won't print ALL of the info out.
Frustrating as all heck and no information on the page on how to make it work.

Just another half*ssed Disney website 'service'.
 
It took several calls and many confused cast members but I finally have my 12 digit number and am not getting the error code!! I would not have figured this out without you!

Now hopefully the site will work when I am 90 days out! Thank you again!
 
My number is 8 digits also. What gives? I repeatedly got the error code when I tried to make reservations on the 4th. I got up early. Wasted two hours trying to get my reservation and finally had to call. Got what I wanted, but it was really frustrating. Why would they give me a number that can't be used to book online ADR?And why would others get exactly what they need to make reservations? Doesn't make sense. I can pull up a resort reservation with out any trouble if I want to make a payment.I'm going to need a vacation after all this! :scared1:
