Online Reservation Trouble! 9/12-9/16

I got on about 7:30, and had no trouble booking what I wanted, including CRT at 1 pm on 12/14!
I do have a question, if anyone knows--we'll have a TIW card when we eat there;(don't have it yet, didn't activate the APs yet). Will we be able to get a credit for 20% back when we go there to eat?

I called WDW DINE this morning with the same question and they said yes, just tell them at the check-in desk.

I kept getting that E error with my first ressie (12/1) and I called this number. I was informed by the cast member answering my call that that phone number was only for cast members experiencing technical difficulties. I asked her why it was listed online and she had no idea. Did I just get an uninformed CM???

I called the Disney vacation number to get the 12 digit confirmation number. I originally got a cast member who tried to tell me that since I booked through AAA they could do nothing to help me. I assured her that was not the case and asked her to speak to a supervisor. After about 5 minutes on hold she got back on and again told me that the supervisor confirmed that she could give me, and I quote "no information whatsoever" because it was made through a travel agent. I then asked to speak to the supervisor. After another few minutes on hold I found the right person!

I gave him my original 8 character number and he said that he didn't know much about dining on line (I had not called the dining number) that the 12 digit number I was asking for was referred to as a "magic number", some way they have of linking your reservations or something. He happily gave it to me.

I have no idea why some people are getting some numbers and some others, but thanks to MinnieMarie I knew enough to keep requesting the 12 digit confirmation number and at least the dining page recognizes my confirmation now.

I was going thru the system just to see if it recognized my AAA 8 digit code and a week or so ago it did. Now, no dice. I wonder what gives. Why do things keep changing?

I am trying to make a reservation for Dec. 15. We check in on Dec. 10 so I should be able to reserve this now, right? But the system is not letting me reserve anything past Dec. 13. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

I'm so exited...got up at 1:45 this morning to be ready at 2am (central time) to go online and finish my ADR's with the exception of Tony's Town Square we got everything we wanted, when we wanted...

does anyone know why Tony's doesn't have any availablity ...I have tried for the past week (just to get an idea of times ) and they have never had anything for 2 at any time they are open?

Wow - lucky you okay - 1am Thursday Sept 17 - then once I'm done I will be so stoked (because I will get most of my ADR's ) I won't be able to get to sleep before my normal 6:00am alarm. Hey, no complaints (yet)

In regards to Tony's - have you tried any other numbers ie: parties of 3 or 4? As per the boards that seems to totally change your choices. I'm all for booking what you need, but really in a non DW restaurant you won't be refused service because you aren't the party size for the table.

Is there a number for Tech support , for making online dining reservation? My first reservation is not reconized in the system. It is with Disney and their online site but not for dining reservation. THIS IS A PAIN!!!! LOL

I have a split stay as we are taking a cruise. So I need reservation for the first part of our stay and then when we come back . I have to ether wait days to book or call and I have to go to work ....

Charley, if you are trying to bring up an ADR that you already booked, you need to enter that 12 digit number rather than your resort confirmation number on your first screen.

If that is not what you are asking about, try this number for Technial Support: 407-939-7765.

Thanks Kathy, but the problem is , it doesn't reconize my resort reservation It does my second reservation at a different resort but not my first. I'll try calling when I get home from work!

... well, my time is running out!

I leave Denmark in 2 days, and i still get the error code: E02020305001

So, i cant retrive my resort information when trying to make dinner reservations online.

I even mailed Disney. They send me a auto mail, saying: Your E-mail is very important to us, bla bla bla. Funny, if my mail is important, why havn't I got a response to my problem yet, 13 hours after i send my request for a solution to the error code that i get, when trying to retrive my resort infomation.

So i guess ill have to eat at quick service restaurants during my entire vacation. I cant wait to choke on burgers and factory "home made" pizzas

Since you are within your 90 days, you don't have to have your resort reservation number to book a restaurant. Just go in and look for an opening and book them individually (like an offsite guest would). You don't have to eat counter service. There are still openings at different places, even on the day of.

I saw a similar error early saturday morning when my 90 day window opened.

I think it has something do with the client. I was on XP Pro with IE 7, or whatever the latest is these days. I got the error when I tried to enter my resort confirmation number.

I went downstairs to the old mac, running system 10.4, and some similarly old version of firefox. Worked fine. Made my resservations.

Went back to the laptop, to check for my own curiosity, and still the same problem.

Tested this week on my work mac, 10.5 something and firefox 3.5 and it worked.

So if you're seeing that error, try a different OS/browser combination.

what I did was to pull up a dining reservation and from THAT point I was able to associate my AAA reservation code to the dining - and now ALL my ADR's show up - including the ones I got via the phone this am.

i was having the same problem for ages. i now select the park/resort i want and click on dining, you will then get a full list of restuarants then you can make reservations for the chosen restuarants. good luck hope you find what you want.

I have had the same E02... error number on numerous occasions but have just managed to book one of my last adrs, there seems to be no rhyme or reason for getting on the system, don't know if it's volume of traffic at certain times or not, it doesn't seem to be a problem for me at the mo i.e. 21.10 Uk time so 16.10 EST for you guys.

I did email customer services but all they have done is ask for additional details, I gave them all, so not sure what else they want/

So, to all above keep trying and it eventually seems to work, however for those that are on a short trip, PHONE!

I still get that error code, but i was now able to get some of the reservations that i wanted.

One strange thing though: Disney wants a telephone number while im on my vacation in WDW, so i gave them my cell number with the Danish country code 0045+cell number. I dont think the system can cope with foreign numbers, so they changed the number to something else, makes me kinda confused, but that must be Disney's problem. I just show up with my reservations, and if its a problem, i will just leave the restaurant.

I still can't get Tony´s Town Square on the 18.th or 22.nd of September though!

I got:

Liberty Tree Tavern (18th of September at 2:40PM)
Les Chefs de France (19th of September at 8.30PM)
Rainforrest Café (20th of September at 2.00 PM)
The Hollywood Brown Derby (21st of Septembet at 01:40PM)

2:40 is a strange hour of the day to eat, but thats what i could get!

Les Chefs at 8:30, thats kinda close to park closing and fireworks. I wonder if i can see any of the fireworks from the restaurant while i eat there!

I just wanted to thank everyone for the tips & helpful advice, etc.
I was able to log on at 3 a.m. EST and booked everything we wanted pretty easily. I tried at 2:59 and it was still blacked out- right on the dot at 3:00 it all changed to "clickable."
I did get one error message, but I tried again and luckily everything was smooth sailing after that.
