Online Modifying/Borrowing Error

For several days, I've been trying to modify an existing reservation. The room I want to change to shows as available. To book the new room requires borrowing 4 points from next UY. After entering that I want to borrow the 4 points (I should be able to borrow up to 110), when I click to continue in order to finalize the change, I keep getting the 7 Dwarves.

The first time, I thought it was just a bad internet connection. After I tried again, I thought maybe there's an issue trying to borrow the points? Anyone else experience something like this?

Could this be one of those weird circumstances where you have to call? I'd rather just make the change online, but there's obviously something preventing it from going through since it keeps happening at the same point.

I had a reservation last year that no matter what I did I could not get it to modify and got the dwarves. I ended up calling and they did it and had no idea why i had trouble.

Same (home) resort, same UY. Just trying to modify from AKV standard view studio to Savanna view studio for the exact same nights and it shows as available, but I'm 4 points short and need to borrow (with 110 points available to borrow).

I guess I'll call and have MS modify it for me.

This has happened quite a few times to me unfortunately and the only way to book the reservation is to call in. It's some glitch with their system around borrowing points, and I hope they fix it soon because it's really annoying! I found even if I cancelled the original reservation and re-booked (as opposed to just modifying) still didn't get it to work.

it's happened to me three times now, I've been told it is a "known issue" with resale contracts ... hope they get it fixed soon

I had been trying to modify an October trip from BWV pool view to BWV BW view, same number of points for both reservations. Showed availability, tried to modify and the system wanted to borrow points, knowing this was wrong, I went back out and in again and the reservation was gone. After the third time of this happening I called and the cast member set it up as a waitlist, the very next morning I had my BW view. I would call, I think the borrowing rules have caused bugs in the system.

I may just chalk this up to the universe trying to tell me to save those points for our next visit and stick with the standard view room I already have booked for now!
