Hi everyone! I am a new runner (started in January) who has also made the switch to healthier eating in order to fuel my new running habit. I have added more fruits and vegetables to my diet, started eating healthier weekday breakfasts, and cut back on desserts. I'm very proud, but would like a great website to track my food. What I am looking for would be a site where I can write down everything I eat and essentially keep a log. An exercise log would be a nice bonus. Oh, and I would love the site to have free membership.

Anyone know of a website that fits this description? Thanks!

I use sparkpeople.com. It's free, and has an exercise log besides a nutrition log. It works great for me!

FitDay is another great site that lets you track nutrition and exercise. There is a free online version and one you can download to your computer for (i think) $20. We have both. I use the online, DH uses the PC version.

Either FD or Sparkpeople are good-just pick the one that you find easiest to use!

Good luck!!:goodvibes

I agree either of those recommended are great. Initially there is a bit of work, but after that since we are basically creatures of habit, most foods and exercise are repetitive and will be found in your list.

Also, it is not absolute. You will not find all foods, you can customize or find things similar that will give a close report.

I love Sparkpeople! I agree in the beginning its a bit more work to add all the stuff you use all the time, but then it's super easy to use.
