Online checkin?

I have already online checked in. So where should I "checked in" again at the resort? Is there a desk somewhere or do they handle at the entrance? I remembered I had to pick a PIN to charge things to the room, so I probably have to do so in person. Also, will the magic bands work, and will it has the DVC-Y status? I was hoping I don't have to carry my phone everywhere. TIA!
