online checkin

Can someone tell me if there is a certain time that online check-in allows you to begin the process once you are 10 days out? I do not have a link yet maybe to early in the day/night?

Don't know if they set a time that is after 12:01 a.m. Eastern 10 days out but we have done it early morning (about 9 eastern) 10 days out. Note there is nothing special that happens by being first in line and you can do it at any time within 10 days.

I think early check-in just makes it feel official. My early check-in has become available but lo and behold it doesn't work on split stays That is what they said on the phone today.

Early check-in just gives Disney the necessary information ahead of time so you don't need to see a CM at the front desk. If you want room charging on all room keys, you enter a CC# and that's the card the resort will charge any incidentials to. You also give them a phone number so they can call you when your room is ready. This can be either a text message or voice message.

If you've done on-line check-in, they will have your welcome packet waiting for you at the resort. That welcome packet will alread include you room keys. If you are on one of the dining plans, your credits will already be loaded on to the room keys and there will be plan details in the packet.
