Online Checkin Missing?

We're traveling with my in-laws in April...our reservations are separate but I'm doing all the planning for them. On my MDE there's a link to do online checkin but I don't see it in their MDE account. Any ideas why it's missing on theirs? Maybe just a bug and it will show up later??
 
You may have to link the reservation to their account. Just put the reservation number in and it may resolve the problem.
 
Have them sign out of their MDE and then back in. If this is the app.
In addition, if you are the lead guest on the reservation their MDE may not show Check In, since they aren't the owner of the reservation, you are. This depends on how it's booked though. If their signing out and back in doesn't fix it then they probably will never get the option. You can do it for both.
 
Thanks for the responses. I have tried logging out and back in and in incognito on my computer but those didn't work.

Their reservations are showing up, just the online checkin portion is missing. They are arriving a few days after us and they have a split stay, but I wouldn't think that would be the issue. Their reservation was made in my MIL's name, I have no control over their reservation in my own MDE account.

I did, however, book one of their stays using my past guest offer code so maybe that's the issue??

I would just wait a few days or weeks before contacting Disney IT, since you still have plenty of time for online check in. :) Disney websites are famous for having information appear and disappear randomly. :)

Did you check both the website and the app?
If not, try that. Again, signing out of the app, and back in.
And I assume you are logging in with her account, not yours?

Ok I was finally able to get to it in the app!
The "start check-in" on the home page of the app was a dead link but the one under "my plans" works!
