Online check in....

What do we need to complete online check-in? Here's what I've gathered thus far:
  • Passport images/photos
  • ID badge photos
  • Credit card for room charges
I didn't realize the ID badge photos were needed until last night, and I'm glad I figured that out now, because I'm not going to wake everyone at midnight EST to take pictures. Is there anything else that I'm missing???? It's good to know NOW rather than finding out the hard way when everyone else is in bed.

Haha....I did exactly that in September. It was our first cruise post Covid and I stayed up until midnight....got to the part about the photos, didn't want to wait until next day so I and ran upstairs and woke my husband up and told him he had to put a shirt on and stand against the wall. He didn't know was happening but was a good sport!!!

Shoot....my online check in is when the system will be down. Will have to wait until the 10th to do it I guess.

Thanks for all the tips. I logged in at midnight and was able to book the kids club times first (without going through checkin), then started the checkin process, but after many restarts and spinning blue balls, decided to just give up and do it in the morning because we have concierge. As described above, when I went through the checkin in the morning, the PAT screen just said something like "You do not need to choose a PAT" and gave us group 1.
 

Is the DCL app the easiest way to do the check in? Or is the website on a PC the way to go? I’m hoping is easy on the app because all my headshots and passport pics are on my phone. Thanks
 
Hi All - When the system reopens, I'll need to book kids clubs reservations for 4 kids so I plan to go to kids club first and then circle back to online check-in. Is there a specific header or menu item I should look for? Or is it pretty apparent once I've signed in? Thanks!

We all do what works for us, but if you decide to try to use a PC, you can. Just email your photos to yourself, then open them in your email on your PC and download them. I found that to be the easiest, since it was only a couple of photos.

I didn’t try using my app to sign in, but, honestly, I’m more PC savvy than phone savvy. Others may be the opposite.

Last year for check in my husband was at work and my step daughter doesn't live with us.
So after I got myself and kids checked in I grabbed a vacation photo of my husband when he
caught a big fish. I cropped everything to shoulders and above. Same with my step daughter.
Thank goodness it went through.

Kids club reservations are under "Onboard Fun" in the app (i.e., same place as the activities like drink tastings, royal tea, sport simulator etc.)

Any photo. I took a picture against the blank wall in the bathroom. I was wearing pajamas; no make-up. Just needed to get a photo at the time.
 
How long does it typically take for them to review your info? I’ve been in pending for over a week now. Just add it to the list of my anxieties 🤣
 
I'm a bit confused. I did online check in at midnight last night and all went relatively well. I have my PAT, confirmation of online checkin and everything was ok. This morning, my Reservations say that I have an outstanding balance of over 900.00 (I assume for all the port excursions and tastings, etc). However, when I try to make a payment to eliminate that balance, the system will not accept payment. It now says this has to be paid by 1-10-22...which is long past. ???? Anyone with any guidance???

Seems to be a glitch after the last update. Lots of people saying the system claims they owe money (for activities) and won't let them check-in.
