When I fill out the online check in section it is asking for a cc# for incidentals.
So if I order a drink that is not covered by our DDxDP and I don't pay for it at the restaurant, it will get charged to the cc#, correct ?
If I want to pay off my charges at the end of each day rather then have my cc charged, how long is the front desk at the resort open to do so.
Is online check in required for them to ship your magic bands to your home ?
Has anybody had bad experience with their cc being charged although an item was paid for ?

No. If you order a not covered drink at the restaurant you will be presented with a check to pay. You can charge it to your credit card but you can not simply walk out.
The Front Desks are open 23/7
No. Nothing was ever charged to my credit card that I paid for.

Personal experience: we put the card with the highest daily limit on our bands. Front desk never said anything about a Disney imposed different limit. One morning we were in a park and we were purchasing souvenirs for family back home to have sent to front of park. When to charge and cashier said we couldnt, limit was reached. We said no, couldn't be, daily limit was x amount. Cashier said only way we could take care of it was to go back to our home resort and speak to front desk. Obviously we were not going to just drop our plans and rush back. When we returned that night we were told A) that disney imposes their own charge amount no matter what your card is and B) they are supposed to "reset" it every night but had not for us. We no longer charge ANYTHING to our magic band.
