Online Check In

Woo Hoo, we arrive at Coronado Springs next Saturday, the 15th. I usually do online check in, but had read that with the magic bands it's best to wait until you arrive to check in. Any experiences with this and what is the best option?

I've done two trips with magicbands and checked in online. Didn't have any problems! Have a great trip!

Any particular reason someone would say that? I can't think of any.

I've done online check-in with MagicBands and have had no issues.

Can't remember where I read it, who knows. I would rather do online check in, so I will go ahead and do that. Thanks for the tips, can't wait to try the magic bands and FP+, yes, I am one of those people who is looking forward to it.

Did online on a split last week POR and BWV - first check-in POR CMs "validated" the magic band number (checked the band number and did something on their terminal, but I did not have to touch the round Mickey light) and after that it worked perfectly - doors always opened, charging always worked and FP+ worked.

In fact, when checking into BWV they just handed me my packet, asked if I had my band and that was the limit of it.

I believe it has been suggested that if you are new to magic bands and need instructions on how to use them, that you don't use online check in so that you can take more time at check in to ask questions.

I'm sure if anyone has questions the CM's will be happy to answer them regardless of how you checked in.
