Mine opens tonight as well as my FP+. Is this when I need to make any room request that we may have? Is there a rush to do online check in or is it ok to just do it in the morning? We will be staying at POR if that makes a difference.

There's no rush for online check in, and I usually wait until just before my trip.

If you have specific requests I would suggest you call and have them added to your reservation. While there will be options to select when you complete online check in, these options may or may not be as specific as some of the requests you have. It's best to call. There is no rush to go through the online check in process.

I always have my requests noted on my reservation. The online check in requests are limited, but they do give you a choice of building, and high floor/ground floor.

When I did my Fast passes last week, for whatever reason, online check-in wasn't available at midnight. Next morning, the button was available, so I did it then.
