Online check-in, room request?

We booked thru RCI and when I called DVC they allowed me to put in at request for the Paddock. (Congress park was unavailable as all RCI rooms are standard not preferred.) That being said, we are ready to do online check-in and I am wondering if I should just leave the room request section alone? We are a week away and we are just buttoning up our plans and we don't want to goof up a already submitted request.

First, that would override any other requests made. Second, at this point if you're only a week out, the room has likely already been assigned so the request would be pointless anyway.

By all means. Just don't fill out the request section.

A little advice please : ) I have already called and put in a room request, but when going to online check in it gives me a green check mark saying "These details are on file". Does this mean the resort has the request and I should leave the room request blank? What about mousekeeping part? Leave it blank too? Thanks for any help!

if the site is working properly, and that is a big IF, click on details and it will open and allow you to put in your requests. I have not been able to use the site recently and have had to call member services. Wait times are very long, but hopefully it works that way. It’s seem like requests are taken, but if you call to confirm they have them, you’ll find they don’t and have to start all over again.

If you already put in your requests by calling MS, do not enter anything in the request section of online checkin. Just skip it. Anything you put in online will overwrite the request you called in. I don’t know what’s in the Mousekeeping part and don’t see any in the online checkin I just completed.
