Online check in problems

Anyone experiencing problems checking in? We hit our check in date, April, 10 (9pm, April, 9 on west coast) and I can’t get the DCL site to let me check in. Keeps saying “available April 10”.

It happens all the time. Clear cookies & cache, as it may have some old stuff saved. Or try Incognito (Chrome) mode, or Private (Firefox) mode.

Were you already logged into the DCL site prior to the actual midnight (eastern) time? If so, the DCL system still recognizes the date as the day you logged in.

Also, it's no unusual for the check in window, or the activity booking window to be delayed in opening. Sometimes it's one, or the other, occasionally, both will be delayed. No rhyme or reason, just happens.

Only solution - just keep trying. Or wait until morning.

Yup, tried clearing and then incognito. Still not letting me in. But thanks for the suggestion

The DCL website is notoriously glitchy when it comes to online check-in and activities. I have been lucky in that I've always been able to do everything at midnight, but for my last several cruises I have noticed in the social media groups for each that there are ALWAYS numerous people that the system isn't "letting in".

Ummm, is your check in date April 10th? If so, it's a calendar problem not a system problem - it's only April 9th. You'd have to wait until tonight to check in.

Yes, check in is April 10, midnight EDT. That makes mine 9pm, April 9, as I am on the west coast.
Since it’s now 5am my time on April 10 and it’s still not letting me in I’m going to assume it’s a DCL issue.

No, it is currently 8 am April 9th on the East Coast so it is a Calendar issue.

There’s an incredible moment when one’s sheer idiocy regarding something very basic leads to great embarrassment- this would that moment.
I have no idea why I was a day ahead, but all day yesterday I swore it was the 9th. Thank you for setting me (and my calendar) straight

No need for embarrassment, it happens to us all. I was trying to be gentle in letting you know you were 24 hours ahead of yourself. Hopefully tonight you have better luck and don't have to post again for actual system issues!

There's also the incredible moment where, in an internet discussion, someone can realize they made a mistake and move forward with a head shake and a chuckle. Good luck tonight! It is always hard to wait, especially an "extra" day.
