Online Check-In Problems?

Has anyone had any problems with Online Check-In? I have an upcoming trip to Disney (September 16th) and I've been trying to do an online check in, when I submit it, I get an error telling me that I don't have a reservation eligible for Online Check-In?
 
I also had some problems with online checkin. I was able to check in, but when making my room requests it was asking me if I wanted the Toy Story building or Dalmation building and I am staying at the Carribean Beach. I just called and they were able to add everything for me there. Hopefully they will be able to help you or maybe just try again after a while. MDE is very temperamental! Enjoy your trip, we are checking in in the 16th as well!
 
I guess I will have to call. I talked to my travel agent.. and he called in the request I wanted a few weeks ago so.. there is that. But I've been trying to do the online check-in for weeks before that with the same error! Grr.

We are having this problem. We originally booked to stay at the Polynesian but in Oct last year we switched the booking to the Grand Floridian due to the building work. We are now at our 60 day point (go in Oct) and have tried to do the online check in. Everything in our itinerary says Grand Floridian but the room options we have are Polynesian.

However we have heard that when people have contacted Disney to try and correct this then they have lost all their fast pass bookings. As we have Anna and Elsa and 7DMT we are reluctant to contact them.

Anyone know if this is true? Do we run the risk of losing our fast pass bookings?

I have no idea. :( We originally booked a day earlier...and we moved it back and extended our stay, I'm not sure if that has anything to do with ours messing up.
 
I received the online check in error also.

But I found that my BF was able to do online check in for us even thou the reservation was in my name. He is linked to my account. I was thankful I'm the one who created his account so I knew the username/password!

My boyfriend and I are in the same situation, but he can't do the check-in either! Ugh!
 
Just confirming your reservation is linked in your MDE? You said you booked through an agent, so I think you'd have to link your reservation in MDE first.

Yes, I linked it through MDE, atleast I'm pretty sure I did? That's how I got my Magic Bands, I think.​
