Question about the new housekeeping system. I noticed when doing online check-in they had me mark if I wanted service every other day or not at all during my stay. Depending on which one I pick, do they leave enough towels for that period? Also, what would we do about our trash? We would have one in diapers so I wouldn’t want to leave days worth of dirty diapers in the room.

We did no housecleaning. They don't leave extra towels for the entire stay. My wife caught the cleaner nearby and asked for more towels or took the trash directly to the cleaner when we needed it emptied and got new bags. I think you could also leave the trash outside your door where it can be seen and they'll take it.

We stayed at CBR in October and opted for service every other day, which just included emptying the trash and replacing towels. They only do this every other day, and they didn't have any more towels than usual in our room when we arrived. I called down shortly after check in and requested more towels be delivered. They asked how many of each I wanted, and they brought them while we were out. That gave us enough for the duration of our trip. If you need garbage emptied daily, I'd suggest calling each day to request that and leave the garbage bag by your door so its a quick in and out for the person emptying it. When they delivered our towels, they set them on the chair closest to the door rather than in the bathroom, I assume because they are limiting contact and exposure. Alternatively, I imagine you could find a housekeeper around when you leave the room that would be willing to take your trash bag.

It is so easy to pack some extra trash bags into your suitcase and then you could carry the trash bag to the trash cans nearby conveniently located by the elevator corridor and as you enter the laundry room or before the quick service , near the pools...
I also asked if it was alright to place my wet towels into the pool wet towel bins and replace with 1 or 2 clean ones myself and the housekeeping said it was OK ... although I am not 100% certain he understood my question. But I have occasionally used this tactic.
Im not a pool person so I figure I have kinda paid for a clean towel substitute trick.

When you get your room, make note of the closest trash receptacle. There are usually many throughout the resorts and I do notice they get checked/emptied frequently throughout the day.

I’d bring extra plastic bags for diapers, maybe double bag it and tie it and just walk it down to the closest can. I’d do that even if they offered daily maid service. I just don’t like dirty diapers in my room at all.

Part 2 fair warning !
( I recently had a health scare that has caused me to have renewed respect for Covid Carefulness... I thought I had the C-rash and had 2 tests (negative) and trip to Dr. to discover it is Shingles Virus...
So just a reminder to be aware and try to stay safe and considerate .
Anybody got good advice?
