Online Check-in but no Magicbands

I understand that as a Canadian, I have to wait until I arrive at my resort before I can obtain my Magicbands. I think that I read somewhere that they only send out Magicbands in advance to customers in the USA.

Is there any point in doing online check-in prior to arrival if we still have to line up to get our Magicbands?

I believe they have a separate counter for guests who did online check in, with a separate line as well.
That line does tend to be shorter so online check in is still a great option.

MAybe someone else would have more info though

There is a separate line for online checked-in guests at the resorts. I am Canadian too, so I pick up my magic bands at the counter but still do online check-in. I find online check in helps in room requests.

You still get a lot of the check-in process out of the way when you do online check-in.

Just wondering, if you receive your tickets in the mail to Canada will they open doors and work for FP+? I know you don't have to have a MB for these things? Will the mail the hard tickets to Canada?

I think you would need to go to a Guest Relations window, show them the documents you received in the mail and passports and they will hand out your paper ticket.

Online checkin doesn't guarantee that you'll get a room ready text, so to me the things aren't connected.

True! I don't think I'd be going to Disney without that discount, the dollar keeps changing, ugh
