I'm hoping someone can help me out.

My dad has decided that he wants to take the family to Disney this fall and since I am the family "Disney expert" I have been charged with booking EVERYTHING!!! My issue is that I have never booked for a party with 2 rooms before so I'm a little confused. Can I book both rooms online under his name? He obviously won't be staying in both rooms, but he is paying for both of them on his card. I'm trying to avoid calling because we are from Canada and the long-distance rates are ridiculous.

If anyone can help I would really appreciate. TIA

No, you'll book one room at a time under different names. Doesn't matter who is paying.

Definitely book under separate names - same name you run the risk that they think its a duplicate reservation and cancel one out.
