I have to say the one huge annoyance with DVC is with trying to find what is available on relatively short notice - i.e. 2-4 months. Why can't they show me ALL the DVC resorts with availability instead of me having to go back to the search page and enter another resort, to be given options at 1-3 of the resorts at a time. And sometimes you have to change the type of villa to see all the options for a given resort. It is so time consuming that I give up and search other travel websites for alternative trips, and book them.

I get the gist of why they shut down ****** but I find it inexcusable that DVC can't come up with their own system of a similar program. As I mentioned at the time, it made me want to buy more points when I could see all the potential openings across the board, including HHI, VB, VGC and Aulani.

One more thing - please make an icon to click to make an online reservation from the front page of the DVC website after login. Having to scroll down a drop down list is an unnecessary step.

Anyone else with me?

I'm happy just having online booking, it only started a couple of years ago. The way members sign in at the 11 or 7 month mark at 8:00am, it would probably strain the system to show all.

We had a DVC member who set up a system to do this and DVC asked that it be shut down.

It is very possible as long as it does not have to be real time.

My guess is that DVC does not want this broad information available.

******'s program was simple and wonderful. That's all I want.

I can see not wanting that open to the potential buyers, but there's no reason not to allow members to see that info. As I said, I think it would help sales.

I actually think the number of members who sign on at exactly 7 and 11 months at 8am is a small percentage of membership. They are focused on one resort anyway and wouldn't need to see all resorts (could be a button to click.) And in this day in age, the servers should be able to handle much more than a few hundred early morning reservations.

As it appears DVC will continue to grow with purchasers spending a big sum to buy in to new resorts, I think it is easily justified.
