Online ADR's with AAA ressie?

I have read posts that talk about making ADR's with a AAA ressie and it seemed that that they were done online. I also read posts saying that the AAA reservation number does not allow access to the Disney site. I have tried to use the number to retrieve my reservation with no success so I'm confused about how I can do my own ADR's in February. I know I can have AAA make them but I prefer doing them myself. Can anybody shed some light on this?? Will I get a new number once I pay in full so that I can do online check-in or will the original number work then?

You can make your own reservations online. You just cannot link it to a AAA reservation. As long as you have your confirmation #s, you're fine.

Anyone can make ADRs. It's not at all tied to your vacation package.

We go through AAA each trip and you won't have any trouble making ADRs. The confirmation number you need is on the paperwork you should have gotten from AAA after making your reservation. The reason that you won't be able to pull up your reservation on the Disney site is because AAA owns the reservation until you make your final payment at 45 days out.

You will be able to retrieve your reservation online on the ADR page to open up the 180+10 days. Just use the confirmation number provided by AAA.

No, you don't. I didn't make my final payment until 45 days out and the confirmation # provided by AAA worked just fine at 180 days.

Nope- my original, down-payment only AAA paperwork came with the official "Disney" reservation number, which I used to make my ADR's at 180+10.

My agent told me which number to use, so you may want to ask if you can't locate it on your documents.

I booked through AAA, but made my ADR's on the Disney site online. I have confirmation numbers for those ADR's. They are not linked to the AAA booking since I have not made full payment yet. Everybody can make ADR's for the restaursants, there are people dining there that just live in the area and are not on vacation. You also do not have to stay at property to make reservations.

I have the number but every time I try to retrieve my reservation it partially loads and after a few minutes says that my request can't be processed at this time and to try again later. Should I call Disney and ask if there is a problem or is it just a website issue?
