Just wondered who takes the day or at least the morning, off work for their 180 day mark to bag those ressies. I had planned to put in a day's leave until I realised my day is Easter Monday! Office closed :yay: So I don't use up a day of annual holiday! :cheer2:

Anyone else of the same mind?

I have moved my work at home day to my ADR day :thumbsup2 I wouldn;t usually do this however it being August and the free DDP there is likely to be a race for the likes of Le Cellier

Last year for August trip it was at 90+10, I waited until I got home about 5:30pm, got everything I wanted easy enough except Cali Grill, wished we hadn't bothered, hardest to get and worst experience:rotfl:

Just checked for this year, Feb 9th (Tues) I can do them, will have a go from work doing online.

Getting all the ADR's is good news Wayne, why was Cali so poor? We had a good experience although it was shame that the dress code was not enforced

Saw at least 2 men with shorts on, although not something that really bothers me, I expected everyone to be in long trousers.
2 hours to serve 2 courses. Didn't help we wanted an earlier reservation but had to take a 9:35pm so really hungry by this time. Smallest meal we had the whole 16 nights of DDP. Server not good, asked if we wanted to eat while fireworks were on I said yes as soon as possible, took til well after fireworks finished before we got food. It was also freezing in there, Just a bad experience all round, I know others love it but its not for us. Trying Yachtsman steakhouse this year.

We are trying Narcossees this time round but am also thinking about Yachtsman (have a eve meal to fill on Friday 13th !)

I was seriously considering it or at least taking a super early lunch and cancelling any meetings (hehehe)... but my ADR day falls on a Sunday so I have yummy brunch while making my even more yummy ADR's!

It costs a lot less to phone USA from work also their Internet connection is a lot faster! :rolleyes1 ;)

I am changing my working days next week so am home for the ADR day ........ will ask again in another thread but still do not know if my ADR day is the 1st Feb or 2nd Feb ........ been told different by disney on three occassions - HELP!! Need to know by today so can change my days when go in tomorrow

Take a day off, no. Do the ADRs while at work, well... :rolleyes1 ;)

I thought about that, but things are usually so hectic around here that I doubt I could get away with locking my office door for an hour to do my ADRs! Put it this way - lots of people would notice ... :rolleyes1

I have visions of some old dear coming in for a bunch of daffs and Wayne shouting at her - Cant you see im trying to book Le Cellier you will have to wait !!! :rotfl2:

Yachtsmans was probably our best meal last year and we will definatley be booking for this year - but we did enjoy cali grill aswell.

I did last year, and then got dragged into work to give a presentation so I had to run home! I will be this year too as we will have to make some adrs over the phone with group dining

I didn't know that UK bookings could even do it online, a cast member told me we had to ring instead. I'm curious to know how you do this online, what is the website and do you have to log in with your reservation number only? Thanks for any replies :)

I did... I work in a nursery and, while we do have computers, they're in the staff room and I think my colleagues would have thought i'd lost the plot! :rotfl:
Shorts are allowed in Disney signature restaurants, provided they're the tailored type :) Surprised they now allow T-shirts though.

am i right in thinking you can ring up to make ADRs at 12 noon uk time? what time can you made the ADRs online?

thanks x

While we are still in winter time, it is 10 am UK time. When the clocks switch end of March, it will be 11 am. So it depends on when your "day" is for booking. Reports on the main boards are indicating that they were right on time at 6 am this week (EST)
