Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

Has anyone tried to make ADR's for a party of 10 online? I am not at my 90 day mark yet, so I cannot actually go through with the reservation, but it will pull up in the system, even though it tells you to call. :confused3

Great question - I tried to make a party of 10 reservation and it let me do it - I did not go past the payment point.

Anyone done it. I hate having to wait to call because that puts me a hour behind everyone else.
 
So I just read that they are going back to the 180 ADR plan Oct. 27th. YEAH!!

My 180 day point woudl be Oct. 2nd - does that mean I have to wait until the 27th (less than 180 days).
 
I just wanted to share that I made my ADR's about Day 3 of the online systems going live. I was there waiting in the wee hours of the morning when the system rolled over to my dates and booked everything I wanted for my family. At the end when I checked out, I received a blank screen and the e-mail I requested was also blank so I went through again and booked my reservations again with success.

Last week when I called to make final payment on my trip, the very knowledgable CM said, let's make sure we have all of your dining set up the way you want it (I guess she could tell I am ocd or something?? :confused3) and was surprised to see that I had duplicate reservations for the same times and dates. Some 2 times and a couple 3 times!!

We went through my list and she cancelled everything I didn't have written down. If you were one of the people who picked up Rose and Crown at 7:30 on 9/19, you're welcome! :thumbsup2

Anyway, my advice is for anyone who booked during those first days to call and verify your reservations and release any duplicates that may exist. I'm sure there are some VERY happy people out there after I cancelled 17 reservations that I didn't know I even had! :rolleyes1

I was able to reserve several ADRs yesterday but today when I attempted to finish our ADRs I have been receiving the error message. :confused3 I assume the system is down.

Well, given the state of Disney's IT dept. it will probably be down for a couple of weeks while they change the code to allow 180 days rather than the current 90 day window,:rotfl2:

I should be in bed--bc my ADR day is tomorrow- I am having problems figured out how I would let the computer know that I have the reservation- I can pull up my reserv for the room in "my disney vacation" box...but how do I pull up the restaurants to make the reservation to open my 10-----please help!:surfweb::scared1: ****** Figured it out..went back a few pages on here (again--since I have read most of them) but figured it out!!BED BED BED

Click on the restaurant you want and click on "book a reservation". There should be spot marked "retrieve your reservation". You put in your # and phone # and it will retrieve it and open up your 90 + 10 window. It will not work tonight, though, if your 90 day mark is tomorrow.

Going back to 180 days! Too late for me this time, but next time:goodvibes! Now if I could just get Liberty Tree for 10/31, I'd be happy. I pull it up daily, and nothing is available!
 
Pick the restaurant you want an ADR for, then it will ask if you want to attach a reservation # (add your info in the spaces) then the calendar should open up your 90 + 10 days.

Then continue with booking the ADR. Pick the date and time and number of guests.

didn't work for me this morning-- I did everything correct- cleared cookies, opened reservation, showed me my reservation still didn't open my 10 days!:scared1:
 
after an hour and 15 minutes on the phone this morning got everything that I wanted on the days & pretty much that times I wanted too--now I need to go back to bed!:surfweb:
 
yrdly princess - you must live in my hometown! When I grew up we only had 1 traffic light - at Main Street and Afton Ave.

Glad to hear that you got the ADRs you wanted even though you had to do them via phone. I'll be up and trying to book online in less than 3 weeks. I hope the system is working well that morning.
 
Tomorrow is my 90 day mark. Assuming it is functioning tomorrow morning, what time can I start to amek my ressies? Is it 6 am Eastern Time, Central time- what time zone??
 
Spent an hour trying to book reservations this morning. What a process! Why can't they have a time range field also? Anyway, I booked a few and ended up calling a CM. No wonder I had such a hard time, she had there was about 4-5 restaurants in Epcot that were not loaded yet. She said try back this evening. I guess the early bird doesn't get the worm :goodvibes

So, some of the times for Le Cellier, all of Tutto Italia, and all of Chefs are not loaded.
